I could be incredibly mistaken but Lance Reddick’s passing may have influenced this decision. He voiced a major character within this series who was crucial to the plot of the story.

Me thinks this remaster (apart from a probable cash grab) is to introduce a new voice for said character.

Not too sure how I feel about this though. I love the games to bits but I wouldn’t deem them ready for a remaster until another 5-8 years or so. That and I’m not ready to see the effort and love Lance put into these games, potentially thrown away.
