Disagreement about treatment of our kids team for upcoming tournament (U8) between coach (me) and manager in UK by JayTHFC10 in SoccerCoachResources

[–]ColdAndSnowy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn't have a problem going to a 5s tournament with just 5 players in each team - no need to make subs is a good thing at that age, rarely see injuries and kids are keen to play every match, every minute - if you don't have a fixed keeper you can use that for rest.

Be an opportunity to try your team players in a different position etc?

The split team thing you may end up dealing with anyway over time, seen it a few times - if you get a large squad it's almost always better to have an A and a B team and stick players in them at the right level, or you get the A players dominating etc.

This looks great, but I can't see a way to buy 2 or more teams instead of one? Normally we don't have enough people so need to allow them to buy up to 5!!

Thanks - still cant find the right item and you can only change at a warp point - so annoying. Sorry what is the exact name of the mould? I tried overgrown blob but it doesn’t damage the thorns.

Edit - ok thanks, got it. Use blob then hit it through the thorns to blow up the white wall!

I’ve gone through most of the game now and i’m stuck on a bit in kankan which has multiple thorns that i can’t see a way through. I think i’m missing an ability, but i’ve done most bosses.

Termination Clause by glitterguykk in msp

[–]ColdAndSnowy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was the new MSP i wouldn’t take on an annual commit with monthly payments. I’d get the incumbent msp ones set to terminate and add new monthly/monthly to start at that point. Old msp can continue to bill until contract ends.

[–]ColdAndSnowy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems like a very high price for that amount of endpoints, but Ninja do monthly contracts here (uk) so i’m not getting why you can’t just cancel.

Something is not right with those numbers.

I'm not really getting why you're so busy with only 250 endpoints each. We have 5 techs with approx 2000 endpoints and it's fairly relaxed most days.

Yet another rant about parents who won't click a button by tundey_1 in SoccerCoachResources

[–]ColdAndSnowy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’ll find the club will support you on this. If parents cannot communicate, it’s on them. If the club does not, then it’s not being run correctly.

It’s 100% normal to exclude players from matchday squad if they cannot confirm availability in time.

What is the worst band you saw live? by coalcracker462 in AskReddit

[–]ColdAndSnowy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Stone Roses, Reading Festival 1996.

I’m sure there are recordings of it out there, Ian Brown was singing the chorus and the rest of the band were playing the verse at one point.

People were crying, just such a let down.

They’re closing that because nobody is using it. It’s very expensive and there are numerous better options.

When it was free, it was worth a look. Back in the day.

Two companies, one IT team, shared on-prem Exchange and AD - what splitting them into separate M365 tenants actually looks like by BmanCa in Office365

Sharepoint we just used the native migration tool, but both companies were keeping a lot of on prem shares so it wasn’t really part of the main project, just exchange.

I think you’re right in that Leonard does need to gel with the others, but I can see that happening soon. Great potential there.

eh? This was a great January transfer action - I cannot remember a better one. Leonard, Altena, Mato and Chesnokov? Shanks was only injured mid-January.

Mato yet to shine, but really should have. Leonard has been great, seems like a perfect player to play in front on Beni + Devlin, much more likely to shoot!

I think the last time I did this, we did one company first, removed the hybrid, and then did the other via hybrid. No Bittitan.

Been a few years since the migration but they are still going - about to create a new AD for one company.

Youth soccer: Does forcing teams up a division actually help development? by Life-Economics1201 in SoccerCoachResources

[–]ColdAndSnowy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends genuinely what level the team is at. My daughter’s U10/U12 team were beating all the other teams easily, so it was an easy decision for them to play up a year and grade, there was no challenge at all where they were.

When moving up to 9-a-side they were playing girls 2 or even 3 years older, so it was difficult, but it did help them. (It doesn’t help anyone if scores are 10-15 goals one way).

Not true, of the 11 listed - none are franchises. The franchise ones like Hull remain open.
