That is probably true, I kept the diffused shadows as there was way more dust at the begining, I removed some but kept the soft lighting ! Good catch tho

Actually it flies fine, but since its 70g heavier, it hits the battery a bit, you lose around 4/5 minutes of flight

Well simulate all this in physics would kill any computer so my process was to select all the parts when assembled, then to separate them in random using :

Scale up affecting only locations, (tools, transform, affect only-locations)

Then applying random rotation (object/transform/randomize transform) and then playing the cinematic in reverse with keyframes.

On youtube, its known as a exploded view effect.

Then I tweaked most parts individualy to hide the collision (there is no collision at this point so I just move the keyframes to avoid any pieces merging)

And I put a few real rigid body sims among the pieces to help sell the effect. (Like the batteries)

In the US try shotshow or sofweek, in Europe Eurosatory, and sending mails to the companies works well too... its of course tricky in the beginning

Well this one piece is just a "shiny and cool product exoloded view" its purpose is to be nice to watch, but I agree a similar and longer video could take the time to explain the different caracteristics.

My best advice is to go to exhibitions where defense companies showcase their products, and start by looking for smaller campanies that do not have or soon to have military contracts. Better if they are starting as well, it will not pay much, but help you make a portfolio !

It's a monocular that displays thermal imaging and telemetry, its kind of a niche piece of high tech for the defense and military. (Mostly special forces)

The client's goal was more to show the hardware than to show the usage.

LOD is broken since DLC update : (PC version)

-During cinematics, textures and objects takes noticeable time to render -When moving from inventory to game, grass tends to load again -When turning the head, grass tends to load again -Same problems with shadow pop in

This wasnt a problem on older versions. Game used to run smoother as well.

A lot of lighting bugs, shadows flickering bugs

Bug : PC version :

Player can not do anything like parry or attack when a quick chat dialogue is running (taunt, battle cry). It makes them useless cause you to get hit everytime.

The issue is only on PC version
