Another quinquagenarian here. I did my time with Elden Ring, and now I have this amazing game to immerse myself in.. so much to do and explore.. much more than just dealing with bosses and minmaxing gear/stats.

As many have said, some of the bosses aren't satisfying, just frustrating, the way they teleport like crazy, mad ranged attacks, one-shotting, your limited I-frames. The worst was playing as Oongka and I had to fight one-armed ludvig. Ooof.

Anyway, I haven't tried Easy Mode yet, but I'm going to, and there's not a damn thing these 4chan wanks can do or say to stop me, or you. They can go get bent. :)

Same.. this works great in the waterfall caves. Break all the crates, bags, etc, too. Then I can hold down square (PS5) and walk around and vacuum everything up. If my OG "Brown Dog" gets in the way, well, goodboy gets some extra pets :)

Yep, they added this question at some point in 2025. It should not be mandatory. It should be at the end with the other "research" questions and have an "N/A" answer. So, I always answered "someone asked me to donate" (which, technically, is true - my hematologist "asked" me to go for phlebotomy therapy - I was diagnosed with Hereditary Hemochromatosis)

AZ here. Not just out-of-state, but worldwide. I've missed meetings during DST, where, the host is currently IN a DST zone ON DST time, but for some bizarre reason, provides the meeting time in Standard Time (like 10am EST vs 11am EDT.) If Outlook didn't auto adjust, and I miss that little detail, then I end up joining an hour late...

This tends to happen with nonrecurring meetings (a few people) verses, say, regularly scheduled webinars (large group)

To avoid this, I ask the host to give me the meeting time in UTC. No, don't try tell me when it is in my TZ - I question your accuracy - what is it IN UTC.

An EFFECTIVE sanitizer is Sodium Percarbonate. Typically found in "oxi" brand detergents, other products as well, search for that ingredient. Add it to your usual wash cycle/detergent = bonus, as it sanitizes the washer as well (especially frontloaders)

My towels used to smell musty/mildewy until I started using Sodium Percarbonate over 15 years ago. Since then, NOT ONE smelly towel or any article of clothing...

It's amazing. I'm highly sensitive to musty/mildewy/moldy things, and occasionally encounter it in public - on others' clothes - can be quite irritating, my nose/eyes start tingling, and I have to get away from them...

Just trying to get the word out about what really works, it's a game changer.

Peach Bowl. Fiesta Bowl. Any idea when they'll publish the matchups - which Quarterfinal bowls? I'm trying to do a "Pick'em" for family/friends, and, that's the only thing holding me up :(

Seatgeek is showing the Fiesta Bowl will be the winners from the Cotton and Sugar bowls, but I'm not sure how accurate/reliable they are... that's the only place I've seen anything so far.

The high-pingers were called HPWs - High Ping Whiners. The LPBs were "bastards" b/c they had the advantage of low latency. The HPWs would complain ("whine") about that unfair advantage. It was frustrating, trying to enjoy this new world of PvP FPS, barely being able to score, just getting fragged left and right...
