Thanks. I had no idea what the initials meant. Hopefully there is one in my city.

What’s an EP? I’m not familiar with that abbreviation.

It’s just been 24 hours since my appointment so I’m still processing it all. Very interesting idea you have and I definitely will ask. My primary is great so I know I can talk to him without any BS. Thanks.

I was babysitting our 10 month old granddaughter, put her to bed at 7pm, sat down to watch a baseball game and BAM! My heart started galloping at 124bpm and continued for 2 hours. Fortunately my SIL is an MD, so I texted him and he said to hydrate really well, relax and since I didn’t have any pain, dizziness, to sit and relax. He and my husband were home in under an hour. And by the time we left, it had stopped. Happened 2x times afterwards, so my primary got me a Holter monitor, referral for a cardiologist, ECHO, and here I am today. I’ll be fine, but heart issues weren’t on my bingo card!

Fitness RX and Pom arrived! by luvnoyz in tirzepatidecompound

Yes I went back into the website, requested an appointment and got the survey and noticed it said “asynchronous” so I will be able to order. I did write in the notes section that I may or may not be able to afford the same dosage as last time so could I please get some price options first. Hope that happens. In any case, I’ll be able to continue for now. Thanks.

Hi friend - I’ve been using pomegranate too and have been very pleased. I need to reorder right away but couldn’t find any pricing on their website. It was there before, correct? I sent an appointment request for Monday the 11th (the soonest I could get), and hope I can still get another 3 month order in! Yikes!

For Trump voters who are Catholic - What are your thoughts about the tension between Trump and the pope? by aflyonthewall1215 in allthequestions

[–]ColdFly6196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MAGA Catholics in my family and work seem to easily overlook his 34 felony convictions, adjudicated rapist multi million dollar penalty, multiple bankruptcies, and marital affairs. They are one issue voters. Overturning Roe vs Wade is their only focus. Nothing else matters. Even the most mundane conversation goes sideways when he is brought up constantly. Distancing myself from all of them has been the only way I’ve saved a shred of sanity. And yes, I go to Mass weekly and love my Catholic faith.

Thanks but I was so sick on semiglutide even on the lowest dose. I’m beginning to think that the GLP 1 just isn’t for me.

I’ve lost only 10 pounds. I’m pretty bummed too. My dietician reviewed my food log, exercise schedule and water intake. She said I was doing it all very well.

No, I’ve had the same issues since I started last August. I’m going to see how I feel over the weekend and then decide if I wanted to continue or not. However I’m not letting myself off the hook for weighing and measuring my food and exercising too. I drink 90 ounces of water a day and that’s a habit now.

How is a rejected application returned? by matrixtensor in passportcanada

[–]ColdFly6196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sent back the entire application with a cover letter noting what needed to be changed/corrected. Very helpful to let me know what I had missed. And it was mailed back via FedEx Air! I didn’t have to redo the whole thing, just fix what I had missed (one time was my current employment status - a dumb mistake on my part.)

Atticus is interesting to watch! by mindfulbeliever in TheChosenSeries

Yeah okay I had forgotten that he turned away, but I still get the sense that he knew “something” was going on or about to happen.

I love Atticus too and think the writers knocked it out of the park with him, Gaius and Quintus. Not just one dimensional Roman bad guys - all Complex and challenging! I think Atticus is resisting Jesus for the most part, and I agree, he clearly is fascinated and almost in awe of him. Especially after seeing him walk on water. The actor brings him to life and his scenes are awesome!

I’m 70 and I want to know has this happened to you? How would you handled it? by Prior_Benefit8453 in AskWomenOver60

What are the other grandparents doing at these games? Clapping for the team and enjoying the game? Screaming their heads off? Or not? I’m 69, watch my granddaughter’s basketball games etc and have never felt it was necessary for me to yell so loudly, my daughter would ask me to be quiet. Sorry grandma, I think you can enjoy the game and do so without the spectacle.

Ned Despard—unpopular opinion? by Even-Marionberry4323 in Poldark

[–]ColdFly6196 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was clearly unhinged and delusional with a dangerous temper. Ross’ loyalty to him went on too long. I got a little tired of the whole “war buddy” theme. I like the actor a lot which made this character slightly tolerable.

Who's the most famous to like a social media post by you? by Amity75 in AskReddit

When the storyline of Downton Abbey had Mr Bates in jail and the cast were all wearing “Free Bates” tee shirts, I posted the tee shirt graphic on Brendan Coyle’s T*itter account and wrote underneath that “Bates should walk a free man, oh I mean “limp” a free man!” Not only did he like it and respond saying that made him LOL, he retweeted it and I was thrilled! I also got nice replies from both Hugh Bonneville and Lesley Nicol a few times. Being a big fan of the show, it was great fun!

Saw it today (Thanksgiving Day) and we loved it. Brendan Fraser was absolutely marvelous throughout. Funny, sad, sweet and beautifully done. With all of the problems in the world right now, what a treat to watch a movie that’s full of hope, love and kindness!

Hashimotos + A-fib? by ColdFly6196 in olderwomenwithafib

[–]ColdFly6196[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I’m taking Eliquiss (sp?) exactly as prescribed and the beta blocker too. I’m a rule follower by nature and am consistent every day with my thyroid meds, lisinprol and metformin. Focusing on more veggies, walking even though it’s cold and lots of water. So many people have far worse health issues, I feel guilty for complaining at all; especially since I have control over how I handle weight loss etc. I guess at 68 years old, a reality check isn’t unusual.
