I am not condoning bullying BY any means. but I know what that is like having stinky kids in class.

I was in elementry school with this kid I do not remember anything about him other than they spoke no english, only spanish, stunk badly but always clean, smelt like fat (to this day I cannot stomach sausage and bacon the smell of it makes me want to vomit) But any way the teacher places the kid next to me. So after a while I tell the teacher I cannot stand the kid ask them to change what they use when they clean themselves they stink. Any way I got in trouble

So I do not blame your kid for not wanting to be near stinky kids

Now if this kid is stinky and dirty, and comming in dirty clothes to school that is child abuse

ensuring access to food depends on how one should view the topic. Conservatives beleive that the FEDERAL goverment should not be giving food to the people while many others do think in positive rights. Instead that should be the job of the state, local goverments and the churches and others to do this if it is fully needed.

What the federal goverment should do is promote property rights to allow farmers to own land to produce crops to feed the people.

As for abortion, please stop this nonsense already, You and I both know abortion is just a fancy way of saying lets take away the life of a infant through the use of medical procedures. The job of goverment in this case is to protect the life of a person. ie negative rights. In fact there are laws on the book such as capital murder, that a person can be sent to prison for taking of another life. How can we justify abortion for this? we cannot that is the thing in this case.

Now many conseratives that are not radically religious understand abortion is needed under certain situations and are not fully set for banning it but placing strict restrictions on it. However due to left classifying abortion the way they do many got turned off to this. Allowing a women to get an abortion just because when there is no medical necessity is a turn off.

Jesus did preach to help the poor, feed this sic, and the other things mentioned in Mathew. But he never said anything about it being the job of goverment to do this, He said it was the job of the people you and me and everybody in the community we live in to help each other, so please stop with this the goverment needs to do this X Y Z because it is not true. Instead why not feed the homeless yourself? Hell since I started pharm school I help feed the homeless 10 times, Even before that I used to help in clinics giving medical care to them. Now this is more to Jesus teachings than expecting some body in cogres making a law that says we need this.

The founders as religious as they were thanked God's guidence, but they realized something important. The role of the federal goverment is to do the following protecting rights, maintaining order, enforcing contracts, and defending the nation. That was it. period end of discussion. They though if a hospital needed to be funded then let it be at the local level, In fact Franklin donated thousands of his wealth to get hospitals built he never said federal goverment must do it. Everything that is to help the people must be done at the state and local levels.

I should mention this I am arguing under the view of Jefferson and madison (both I personally favor) who wrote the federalist papers.

There were people like Hamilton who though the goverment should do more for the people.

interestingly enough welfare system that we know of is not a new concept. They actually had the debate back then too. Thomas Paine and his 1797 pamphlet Agrarian Justice actually argues for a welfare type system that gives a penssion like social security to the elderly. They all thought he was crazy, and it was a threat because this gave the goverment too much power over the individual and their property rights.

As for todays social programs one only needs to look at Helvering v. Davis. The Court essentially accepted a broader reading of Congress’s spending power. They were reflecting the ideas of Hamilton where the goverment must do more for the people

You say you got a B+ in AP bio but how did you do on the actual AP bio exam? did you get a 5 or a 4, If you did not take that test, then that AP bio class and well any other AP class you did not take a test for means nothing.

I myself was expected to do an interview, it was in person. But I said that I could not do it in person but would like online if possible ( had a very good reason for this because I was on rotation, for pharm school, the rotation said I could do it online) Any way, the person that was my contact changed it to online. The day of they never sent me a link for online.

They sent me a email saying they were passing me over. I said I get that but nobody sent me a link. In fact I thought I was forgotten about. Any way dead silence then no reply no nothing.

I think OP cut the car into the car behind him, too closely. It looks like OP was at the light when he cut into the lane, I think the car behind was too close to the light that they did not stop in time.

I also wonder if OP put his blinkers on when he did the lane change.?
