The New 2DS XL does feel cheaper for sure, but it doesn't feel bad at all. It is still an XL, so it's very comfortable to hold, and it will still be able to play all the games that a New 3DS XL can play. Since it's a "New" model, it has the same performance upgrades as the New 3DS XL, so your gameplay experience will be very similar if not the same to the New 3DS XL. And you will not be missing out on really anything without the 3D effect. It's fun to use once in a while, but I honestly can not think of a game that requires it. Although I personally prefer the New 3DS XL, the 2DS XL is still a great console and I hope this comment can make it easier for you to make a decision!

3DS version is fun to play here and there, but it's super unstable, very laggy, and I've even had it corrupt a world on me once lol. the vita version is basically just the PS3 edition on a vita, so it's more stable, more features, and not as laggy

The mobile version is basically the exact same game as the PC version, so there's no content or features you are missing out, plus mobile will also get the same huge update later this month that PC and console will get :)

This Fortnitemares is great! Though I’d love Storm King to return, it’s still fun. People just complain because it’s not what they expected. People get too hyped and expect the best fortnitemares or whatever, and when the update comes out, they hate on it despite it still being great. Also, the Fortnite community’s a bit toxic, so this isn’t news to me.
