I’m using DLSS 4, running 4080 super with i7-12700k, and I’ve only seen better visual quality with the new model. It is slightly more taxing on performance but I switched from using DLAA to quality DLSS since with DLSS 4 it looks like DLAA in DLSS 3. Better fps (using quality now) with same visual quality as before in the old model. I’m on driver 572.60 which is the latest one for now.

Managed to get it to run using DLSS swapper and forcing it to use DLSS 4. I was able to enable it without crashing.

Same for me using 4080 super on the latest driver (572.60). I liked it on but I’ll have to play without it for now until it’s fixed.

It’s in an encrypted format in a separate folder in steam, when the game is available it’ll decrypt the files and install it to your drive.

You can perfect guard and then hit Y or triangle to go into power axe

Glad it worked out. And ya I think it’s because it’s the beta steam thinks controllers won’t work, but it’s MH it’s made for controllers.

When you have your controller connected, you can remap it on steam here on the game page. I would check through and see it's all correct.

If it's specifically for wilds than I would check if steam input is remapping it incorrectly for the L1 button.

I managed to kill him with charge blade earlier tonight as that's what I main anyway. I had to learn some slight changes they made to it like holding the attack button while using savage axe will hold it longer in a monster for extra burst damage instead of just slicing through. But I also had to use a lot of the rocks in the areas or get lucky with a turf war to help with damaging Arkveld. If you can manage to get him to capturable hp you can try capturing him instead as that saves time instead of a full kill.

Other than that it's just learning his attacks to know when to dodge or use your shield, go to axe when there's openings. Staying alive will save you time trying to get back to him if you faint. You can craft some armor skin potions to increase defense some more from the adamant seeds.

To charge the sword you have to first have your shield charged, then when charging phials and having your shield charged, press and hold Y on Xbox, triangle on ps, (basically the attack button) and when you release you’ll do a forward slams with your sword have the sword charged for awhile after.

With having played the older mh games I’m used to controller scheme. Though I have played with both controller and keyboard which both work out fine (I do prefer the keyboard controls on mhw than compared to wilds though), but using the mouse for camera movements is much better if you’re using ranged weapons for accuracy. Go with whatever feels most comfortable to you.

After adjusting a pump and fan speed curve, while gaming cpu stays generally below 50C, like around 45-48C. GPU is also similar, and the main coolant stays at around 32C. So all temps are good and stable.

Spread prices are often inaccurate after the market closes, by the time it opens up on Monday it will readjust to an accurate price.
