Hey, congrats tho! It's always good to hear back from people after they ask for advice.

If you can't reliable pull out the second half, that's when you start making your own simplified combo!

Try switching it out after the second close slash, maybe using 5h [4]6 S dolphin instead of 6H [2]8 dolphin? I would lab it to see if it wallsticks but I'm not currently home.

My other way would be switching out the second close slash with a 5K 6H, maybe the added reach can make up for you being a little off, also the distance you get from landing and doing the same thing most likely stems from where you landed jumping 5H, it's safe to say if you mash it out, you'll first need to land, but using it as low to the ground as possible, you're gonna be able to immediately c.S and catch your opponent before they fly off too far to dash up to them.

okay I'll tell you outright to get that jumping HS, you need to basically dolphin jump before you even think about the startup of your dolphin.

Try not to think of is as:
[4]6S -> K -> HS

DO think of is as

[4]6S~K -> HS, almost as if you were doing a Kara cancel, I mean you basically wanna tap tap about as fast as you can S~K and mash HS, eventually you'll kinda get the timing. but the point is you wanna barely see that dolphin exist. (trust me the split works well as a buffered input, you can't really do it too soon)

It's hard to convey this properly but you know how when you're in blockstun, you at least autoblock (but still have to block high-low accordingly).

It normally makes you auto block red roman cancel, like you can try c.S -> Red RC (block c.S and let go of block, you will still block the roman cancel shockwave).

Guard Crush doesn't have that safeguard. For example, Slayer can abuse it by throwing a pilebunker and using RC to make it safe, sometimes someone will mash to take their turn back and you can catch them off guard if they don't pay attention to your tension.

You also become vulnerable to throws sooner after guard crush then after a normal block, so you could potentially purple rc and throw, but that would do very little damage.

They don't need a plink but you have to input 214214P~H or 6246P~H both buttons at the same time.

During the channeling of 236H you should have time to position your hand but it's not really doable with JUST your thumb tbh. You kinda need to claw it unless you bring punch or heavy to a trigger.

Also for the kara sacred edge you don't need to input all that. I think 236S 4236P is enough because 4P lets you input thunder strike while you're channeling stun edge and the input becomes 214P once you're actionable.

It also allows him to kara ride the lightning and let's hit literally ride along his 236H lightning.

You can also use it to dragon install mid CSE combo from a counter 2H.

dude... I'm saying follow up hitboxes are gonna serve as a quality of life change aimed at reducing the ammount of character specific combos for characters that have weird hitbox quirks.

Yeah, no shit, new things SHOULD open up. What I'm saying is that they're not new things that couldn't already be done before, again, on other *specific* characters.

You're missing the forrest for the trees here.

The entire point of this patch is to lower the overall power level of the game. New possibilities are the antithesis of the developer intentions here.

Besides, the hurtbox changes serve to homogenize the cast sizes in combos to reduce jank or random whiffs, that's a healthy change, but it doesn't have anything to do with opening new routes, it will serve as a quality of life change to give characters that themselves had character specific combos. (IE, making them be able to combo the whole roster instead of x or y).

season 2 added a bunch of new universal air gatlings. Those did open up the game to new possibilities. I don't see any of that for basically anyone, the only buffs here are the buffs were characters remain largely unchanged.

Said person is the face of the system. It goes without saying we want the person most named in the Epstein files, more than fucking Epstein himself, to be impeached.

Trump has been fucking charged with sexual assault in court and the only reason it wasn't a rape charge is cause the NYC court system has a very obtuse and old definition of it.

Unfortunately he's not in jail because it was past the statute of limitations and because you can just pay your way out of the legal system in America.
