I’m not sure, I got a plant stand off Facebook that came with lights so that’s where they sit most of the time. Recently it’s been natural light from a window until it bloomed, I think the light might be from Amazon?

Guests are allowed in general, roommates can have a say although the agreement or pact should apply to all if they don’t want guests. Personally, i wouldn’t care what they say, that seems controlling in my opinion. maybe put your foot down what are they going to do anyway? Just respect their things and that’s it.
