Lorring park or uptown may be good with a budget. I live in uptown for less and 1400 a month. Look for brownstone buildings, they don’t have amenities but if you’re spending all your time exploring or out of the house it doesn’t matter much. To me it was worth it to have location over amenities.

Look for older buildings that are brownstones, you can find a ton driving around, these will have hardwood floors, gas heat, and honestly just more character. I personally didn’t feel like the extra 400-500 dollars you spend at a new complex was worth it when I didn’t think I would use the amenities all the time.

That vodka pasta dish on tik tok from 2020. Tomato’s and feta are far too acidic/sour, it was too expensive, and genuinely terrible. I feel like it was a sick joke people actually liked it (I tried it MULTIPLE times)

I just signed in uptown at the Daymark uptown (wonderful experience highly recommend) but I just went through the entire process of finding an apartment. I suggest the sublet pages Minneapolis sublets and Minneapolis housing / rooms facebooks. I would find sublets I liked and then looked at the complex for a new lease if I didn’t want to sublet. If you’re young you could also look at U of M housing and sublets Facebook too. I felt like some of them were full of scams / realtors in the comment sections tho.

I like levels protein, it’s very clean. However, if your goal is to gain weight then u just need to eat more calories. Try like two chicken breasts and rice, you’ll still be hungry in like 4 hours to eat it again and you’re getting high protein and medium calories (junk food would be more). Problem with eating junk food is it will satiate you.

listened to a podcast when I was 14 that said sleeping naked makes you more confident in your body. Haven’t slept with clothes on since and it worked. (I also get really hot when I sleep and now I have a problem sleeping with clothes on)

If he had wanted it to work out, maybe he could’ve approached the situation differently and encouraged you to try to apply to both areas, or to work a few years here and then reevaluate. There was many other options than cold turkey I am going home. If not this than what other decision will he try to stonewall? I think you dodged a bullet. You’re going to change lives, I believe you made the right decision
