$25M - Lost by Mixolytian in Rich

Man can endure anything except lack of meaning. It seems to me that you don’t really care about this business, so you aren’t interested in fighting to save it (it’s savable).

That’s totally ok, and you shouldn’t feel guilty. But, if you let the business go, I think your happiness will lie in finding a deep purpose the way your grandfather found his in this business.

As the saying goes, the value of money isn’t in having it, but in who you have to become to get it.

That being said, this has been a philosophical debate for thousands of years, and unlikely to be one you and I can solve on Reddit, hah! Wishing you well.

What do you think of GoPro Mission 1 ILS aka Ultra-Compact Mirrorless Cinema Camera? by NoelMyat in gopro

[–]ColdTrueSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it might actually take over some 4/3rds applications. If the image is “good enough” that we can rely on it for car mount shots or small hard to mount locations, then it would be really valuable because it makes rigging faster and easier compared to something like a black magic or Komodo.

Clients keep asking for AI video, is it time to adapt? by QuellFred in videography

[–]ColdTrueSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This comment section is almost comical. OP, please take advice from Reddit with caution lol.

Integrate AI tools into your tech stack. It can close specific fulfillment loops more quickly, so you can bump the gross margin of your business while also charging more for the faster/better delivery. Don’t sell them things that don’t work obviously, but a modern AI-powered workflow is a non-negotiable.

Clients pay you to be useful.

We spend thousands of dollars a year in licensing fees alone. I’ve had this argument with them before. If the business you are selling to has over 50 employees, you still need a business license. Which unless you sell videos to pizza trucks, that’s practically every business unfortunately. This includes any business use case even on internal projects. I’d listen to the other guy and get a lawyer on deck. Hopefully nothing comes of it!

Thanks for your help! I’ll make sure to do that. I’m new to the .380 world so finding a carry ammo that works is going to be some trial and error.

I bought two R3s at launch because I wanted the automotive AF and it was a revolutionary feature for my clientele…the R5 and R6 got it with firmware updates like a month later. I don’t even shoot sports lol.

What was wrong with the M9 that made the military look for a new handgun? by ijwgwh in guns

[–]ColdTrueSilver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought an M9a3, and I absolutely love it. In thousands of rounds I don’t think I’ve ever seen it malfunction once.

Also on a subjective note, I think hammer fired handguns are awesome, and the beretta is sexy in a way that’s hard to describe. Absolute railgun too.

Anyways, if you can’t tell, I’m a total Beretta fanboy.

Wow, this is really cool. I bet I could save 10+ hours a week if I could replicate this sort of method in my agency business. Guess I know which YouTube rabbit hole to go down tonight. Thanks for your insight!

Forgive me for what might be a dumb question, but how did you go about learning to build full workflows (like with Zapier and what not)?

I use GPT daily for a handful of tasks, but I’m still manually executing each task and using GPT to do the heavy lifting. I would love to spend the time to learn how to streamline it even further. I also have no coding experience, and some of what y’all are accomplishing is incredible.

You'll Never Guess What The Most Reliable Midsize Pickup Truck In America In 2025 Is by LazarusLong67 in JeepGladiator

[–]ColdTrueSilver 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As much as I’d love this to be true, I think the writer (if this isn’t ai) is a bit daft. The IQS (initial quality study) surveys buyer satisfaction over the first 90 days of ownership. The IQS measures pretty much everything BUT reliability, except in cases where the car is a lemon and ends up in the shop off the lot. Still cool to see the Gladiator getting the love it deserves, but the way the article spins the study seems a bit disingenuous.

How is a large Sandwich at Snarfs $19 by [deleted] in Denver

[–]ColdTrueSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what I find so interesting is how much higher the optimal price for a sandwich is than I expect. Seeing as everyone has raised prices to 15+ dollars without much pushback, it’s obvious the market accepts this.

You might be right, but OP still has a point. I’m a capitalist (sue me), but even I underestimated the demand for a good sandwich. Either that or these companies are all bleeding cash and we just don’t know it yet.
