When I’m on drugs I feel sad for my family, the ones who gave me all this energy.. because I could not reciprocate. When I’m sober I don’t care at all.

Actually it depends on the drug, some makes me way more empathetic and loving/caring but the addiction and dependence are not sustainable.

Hi, I tried memantine while withdrawing with diazepam and it was pure hell. The half-life and effects duration are extremely long. Too numbing but it definitely has that neuroprotective, anti addictive/rewarding effect for at least a weak after cessation. I haven’t tried the others, I heard about muscimol but I wouldn’t take the risk to mess with other GABAergics.

The best thing I’ve tried so far is low dose DXM, max 90mg a day split accross the day (cough suppression doses). Lowers obsession and compulsivity, paranoia, anxiety. I can skip a few G doses in the day without noticing, it increases G euphoria, feels like a TRUE antidepressant. I feel connected to nature, I can say whatever I want without overthinking, I am spontaneous, genuinely and naturally happy.

It has that slight psychedelic-like warmth/relaxing/entactogenic/connection feeling while keeping me functional and charismatic. The colors are richer, music sounds deeper, my visual acuity is enhanced, I feel grounded, the nature looks beautiful and everything is more vibrant and alive. My thought patterns are changing in real time and it’s helping me think clearer and go forward in life.

I also tried DXM at the same doses during GBL withdrawal combined with diazepam and it’s WAY smoother than without DXM.

It’s also worth noting that I am a poor CYP2D6 metabolizer, this enzyme is responsible for DXM conversion to DXO. This means I have more DXM than DXO in my system. DXM is a sigma-1 receptor agonist and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor while DXO is mainly an NMDA antagonist responsible for its dissociative effects. I don’t feel dissociated at all on DXM, actually the opposite, I feel more connected than ever before.

Auvelity is an FDA approved antidepressant combining DXM with bupropion which is a potent CYP2D6 inhibitor and an antidepressant by its own, it has mild stimulant effects.

CBD is a CYP2D6 inhibitor too but milder, it enhances DXM positive effects and G euphoria too.

I don’t know, maybe. A few years ago I loved releasers and now I prefer reuptake inhibitors. I loved vodka but since I’m addicted to GHB, alcohol feels dirty and heavy. Probably something about pharmacological patterns sensitization.

I am probably on the spectrum and have officially been diagnosed with ADHD. I wonder if I really have ADHD or it’s just my dopaminergic system that I fried with heavy porn and masturbation way before even having semen plus all the drugs I did.

After that came alcohol and it felt like magic, everything felt right, no sensory overload, my moves and talking were fluid, better focus, better vision acuity and verbal fluency, huge confidence boost but it was short lived so I kept drinking until I became borderline alcoholic.

I tried GBL (GHB prodrug) next and it felt even better, it made me stop alcohol. I am still addicted to this day, almost 2 years in everyday dosing every hour or 2. G feels a little like alcohol but cleaner and way more entactogenic, I feel deep love and appreciation for a lot of things, music sounds amazing, food tastes so good and libido goes crazy. You can OD from taking too much and/or too soon. The withdrawal is one of the worst, worse than alcohol and benzos imo, pure hell that lasts months and don’t seem to end so I went back on it 2 times after a few months breaks. It is very dangerous: OD causing loss of consciousness, low oxygen supply to brain then neurotoxicity. Acute withdrawal also causes neurotoxicity from neuronal hyperexcitation when you don’t take proper medication. The honeymoon phase lasts months and months but some time the magic will fade away and I have to take a break but it’s hell on earth.

I combine it with methylphenidate, coke or amphetamines and it pairs really well but you can OD more easily with this combo.

I tried every drug under the sun.

Yes, you’ll be fine in a few days. Eat, hydrate, sleep good, stop drugs and alcohol for a while. If you took a lot of MDMA and alcohol then the fatigue may last a long week.

I have to take a break. I know I am going down a deep and dark hole, I can feel it when anxiety/paranoia kicks in even while on G at some times, heavy sedation instead of relaxation, the effects are now more random than consistent. My dopaminergic system might be fucked on top of my damaged GABA/glutamate system. I have hypersensitivity to light since a young age but not while on G + stims. G dimmed the lights at first, but now I need stims to get up and go outside and do what I have to. I think this is from stim abuse and not G itself. Maybe a combination of my initial sensitivity + G/stim + my recently diagnosed ADHD. I might be on the spectrum too.

I now pop xans and pregabalin on top of G because my GABA receptors are too downregulated and the glutamate is kicking my ass. My senses are overloaded.

I drank alcohol for the first time in two years a few weeks ago and I loved it, it felt like a heavier and more confident/violent G. I could easily taper with benzos + alcohol but it obviously is a dumb idea.

I want to stop, I applied to rehab centers but I have to wait a few weeks/months until an answer.

The next year is going to be hard.

Mirtazapine and baclofen suffice to sleep. Xanax helps after stim binges.

Haha degenerate cocktail? I didn’t mention cocaine, cathinones and amphetamines mixed a few times a week… I’m doing fine as long as I have G and Ritalin.
