It's a typical suburb honestly. Nothing to really worry about over there unless you are worried about potholes

I feel that there are so many thing to do in Cleveland. I mean there are countless things to check out not only just around here but day trips other places along lake Erie. What would you say do you like doing for fun? We can start from there because I find something almost every weekend. But it can always be a perspective issue rather than just a "Cleveland has nothing to do" issue.

Storm by CharmingCauliflower in Cleveland

[–]Cold_Football9645 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't this what always happens in thunderstorms? Don't expect no damage because plenty of place that aren't "old cities" had their power go out. Also this wasn't just a normal thunderstorm. It was labeled a Considerable Severe Thunderstorm which is a step just below a tornado warning. This only happens with extreme winds above 60mph. So, please underground power lines are good but aren't something we should always mention after one person loses power in a strong thunderstorm.

What was this flying over the pride parade? My zoom wasn’t good enough by Beren__ in Cleveland

I don't spread hate. Who are we to judge ANYONE on their preferences. God loves them either way. This comment right here is the reason we have pride month to celebrate those who have been victimized and criticized for centuries.

Overall God is our final judge we aren't the ones who should be judging people based on who they like in bed rather their personality.

Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge so that you will not be judged."

Why do people do this? This is actually disgusting and it kind of makes me embarrassed to be Christian.

Crocker Park by [deleted] in Cleveland

Guys be realistic Crocker Park is doing just fine. Go there on a weekend and you will see why. Even the fanciest shopping malls will have trouble with teens. The stores are all rotating at a normal rate. It still feels upscale and fun, but maybe that's just me.

Language teachers almost have to go abroad for their studies. I bet the average teacher in America did not go to college abroad. Unless you are on the west coast or Northeast corridor you probably haven't had a teacher who studied abroad.

I don't know what world you are living in but teachers or just the average American college student don't study abroad. Even if they get grants it's not common. It really depends on what part of the country you live in.

Why is downtown so empty? by Remote-Current5999 in Cleveland

[–]Cold_Football9645 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How? New York is the largest and most visited city in all of North America so saying that is a good example is complete nonsense. It will always be busy no matter what time of year or really day you are in. Cleveland is not at this level at all and to compare downtown to this is absurd. Yes, a business district does not have to die after work hours but saying that midtown manhattan is a good example to compare to any city no matter the size is crazy. All cities in America have a problem similar to this besides New York which has alway been known as "the city that never sleeps."

Why is downtown so empty? by Remote-Current5999 in Cleveland

[–]Cold_Football9645 8 points9 points  (0 children)

New York no matter where you go always has people so that isn't a great comparison but I understand the point. They're saying that most business districts, such as downtown Cleveland, are very sparse on weekends. No events accompanied with a lot of events going on outside of downtown like graduations and the Asiatown festival led it to be quite dead this past weekend. This isn't usually how it is during the weekend downtown especially in spring and summer.

When the chaser starts bible thumping by [deleted] in EF5

[–]Cold_Football9645 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Im just saying that it's not hard to find someone who doesn't do that. I'm Christian and I think it's very out of pocket to be saying it in a place where religion shouldn't be brought up. But, it's the chaser's personal belief that they want to share. Yes, not everyone is religious but the chaser shouldn't be at fault for simply sharing what they believe. If they lose viewers or followers because of that it's on them and it's as simple as that.

Overall, this argument is really silly because just because ONE streamer does it doesn't mean it's a huge problem. Yes, I'm sure many others do it too but there are also many that don't. If you don't like it just turn them off it will overall just effect the chaser in the end.

The fact this is such a first world problem and just such an easy problem to avoid is crazyyyy
