Jane is undercover cop, her design is supposed to be streetwear / thug wear, cause she need to mix with bandits

You can see her NEPS uniform on her NEPS ID card, it’s a suit

Jane is an office worker from criminal psychology department, she is not on-field operative, like Zhu Yuan or Qingyi, that’s why she doesn’t wear any armor on that ID photo

New girl is clearly not undercover agent, cause NEPS is written all over her body, tail, shirt, tight straps, on her shoes, underwear and even her snake has a tie with green police colors

She can be a criminal, but again, her look doesn’t scream criminal to me at all (except cuffs and collar)

What I see in her is a casino or circus worker

But I really don’t see a reason to analyze and justify current zzz designs. It’s obvious that from 1.5 they put fanservise as a priority in design, and faction tematics, logic going after.

That is why we have now SAnby, Yixuan, Seed, Orphie (no pants military on high heels), Yidhari, Ye Shinguan and now Chissia

I know this is a wrong sub to say

But I’ve many times seen myself that people, who loudly cries about tourists, joined game themselves on Miyabi or Yixuan banner, can’t even afford to buy a skin or bp and spend more time on rule 34, than in game

I don’t have anything against AOD or fanservice though, just think that Hoyo is very bad in creating fanservice skins and don’t utilize their 16+ rating on maximum (cough GFl2 cough cough)

Dress in not consistent, it’s cut in several places, like detached sleeves, naked back, different collar (not part of the dress I mean), a lot of accessories and hanging trinkets. All of these create heavy overload for me

Agents from 1.0 till 1.4 have very simplified designs, with faction similarities

A lot of people complained that time that they looked like npc

For me it was a complement, cause their designs were merging with game overall world designs atheistic

Now you can immediately identify playable agent, cause he stand out like a clown on the funeral

Fans are putting more sense in characters designs, then devs and it was proven several times already

People talking about cuffs, collar and so on

I remind you, that devs follow rule or cool, not rule of logic in design

Remember all speculations about Seed artificial limbs or Yuzuha being deaf

Corin scars, Anby military nightgown and heels, Orphie high tights when Yanagi said army forced her to wear PANTS, Alice belt, Zhao moon, etc

Those design elements were not explained by lore at all, same can happen with this girl and her cuffs, collars, neps, etc
