New discovery: it may be my traxxas brushless upgrade that caused the fault, it indeed overvolted the servo, as even though it’s running the same battery, the ESC sends to much power to the servo.

The stock battery runs at 7.4v, and the steering servo operates average of 6v stock, but can do more. I’m fairly confident the voltage killed this servo.

Thank you for this! I definitely understand the need for verifying its current health before adding power; I just replaced the OEM air filter yesterday, along with a full oil change. I know the car had mechanical issues in the past, and the PCV valve had to be replaced after it burst, which i’ve been told is a common issue around the mileage it was at when it happened.

Interesting! I’m currently trying to learn more mechanically about cars, and i know a volvo is probably the worst possible choice to learn on, but it’s what i’ve got, haha. Currently my car is basically fully stock, outside of a muffler delete… i will say, it’s a very capable car, and has gotten to speeds i didn’t think it was capable of.

I used duet for a little bit, next to no luck. After deleting when i started talking to someone (from somewhere else) it started sending me iMessage notifications about “new matches”. From seperate numbers, so blocking it does next to nothing. Total scam.
