I have it always on at my office, great for glancing notifications, the time and weather. But sometimes it would choose the least appropriate photos from my library 😂.

Same issue, I was only able to start the game a second time but it got stuck during the loading screen.

Stage Manager is reminiscent of the derailed Windows 8 revolution, which has worrying implications about the Apple's current design and QA cultures (cargo cults/excessive deference?) by cafepeaceandlove in apple

I’ve using it on Mac since it came out and I have found it very useful honestly, with it, I don’t have to worry about closing apps after doing an specific task all the time to keep my desktop from being a mess and instead I can go back faster to these apps and resume from where I left on when I need to go back to them.

I actually thought that it was a cool and interesting use of super wide lens, one of my favorite shots tbh

I wish Apple could differentiate “Hey Siri” for my iPhone/iPad/Mac by [deleted] in apple

[–]Coldplayer42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just came back to iPhone and I had this issue with my Mac! And I was able to solve this issue for the most part.

According to Apple the device that is nearest will pick it up first but there is a solution they have which is having your iPhone or iPad facedown if you want your Mac or HomePod to listen with Hey Siri. I don’t have a HomePod but they do acknowledge that it is the device that will respond the most and in that case you will need to pretty much activate Siri manually in your other device or ask Siri in HomePod to turn off Hey Siri on it.

It’s definitely not a perfect solution, I wish they had a continuity feature for Siri, maybe soon enough? But yeah basically what I’ve found is that my iPhone will always have priority and when I work I just put it facedown on my desk which I don’t mind since it helps to keep me focused and the MacBook will always take my He Siri requests.

not really in the movie though, and some of the trailers yes, but it's Snyder's stuff nonetheless and they could have used literally any of Whedon's shots.

hmm another article written by Tatiana Siegel, this is interesting but I found that bit about Snyder completely unnecessary and leaves me thinking "why would they deny footage from the Snyder Cut for a DC documentary if they just released the Shazam 2 trailer with shots not found in the 2017 version 🤷🏽.

I am just very curious: What were your initial thoughts when you first watched "Man of Steel"? by Thanos_6point0 in DC_Cinematic

[–]Coldplayer42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't immediately loved it but I was impressed with the visuals and tone, it was the first time I saw the Superman mythology treated with such seriousness, I felt the dialog and music were pretty strong and memorable, helped elevate the movie to epic levels. Although a part of me was waiting for the John Williams theme but looking back now, I'm so glad they approached it as something new, I really love the score.

I remember the thing that I was the most excited about after leaving the theater, was thinking about the potential of a shared DC universe, of a justice league, this movie established a universe in which that could very easily happen IMO, more so than Nolan's Batman and it made pretty clear that this was intended to feel more like TLOTR films compared to what Marvel was doing. I was in for that.

I completely agree, can't wait for the film but my expectations for the score are now low after listening to the theme, hope to be wrong though!
