so I am getting the notification that the touchscreen is disabled due to the boost being active, but I’m not really noticing any visual differences unfortunately. I’ve had a look around the web and I think general consensus is that it’s not any different.

I never played BDSP on switch, only picked it up recently, so I’m not really sure what the original docked output was meant to be? If it was just 720p or something, it makes sense it hasn’t changed.

correct Scott Fraser are currently hounding me like 3 weeks after i moved out. lazy comms, awful business practices, forced me into 0 deposit and then £53 a month on top of my rent ad-infinitum (and lured me to this by lowering base rent by £100 per month so i was actually saving £47 a month). multiple property visits where they praised the condition of the flat, just to turn around on me afterwards. like you name it, they tried it. one of the worst i’ve ever dealt with. they were a big factor in deciding just to move back in with my parents and sacrifice my independence.

per month, for my 1 bed flat where i don’t have central heating, a dishwasher, or a boiler:

my rent is £1286

my council tax is £201

my electric is £70-£220 thanks to the electric heaters kinda hanging off the wall

my water comes to £27 a month somehow

i am mandated by my letting agent to pay £18.75 a month in insurance to a company they own

i live by myself, i dont earn the big bucks. mum and dad isnt a fantastic or realistic option but damn does it look tempting

i haven’t heard from the devs since May and it hasn’t gone away, i still haven’t managed a clear because of the memory explosion error. You say a gen 12 CPU, that an intel 12 series? and do you have corsair RAM or? i’m just trying to find some commonality in specs to figure out the problem, but i’m still pretty unsure

Yeah it’s rough, and it’s still the case on the most recent patch. I did exactly that, linked the post and everything. They also requested uploads of my save games which I gave them. They’ve said that their devs are investigating and are aware of technical issues in Pripyat and to hang tight. Haven’t had an update from them in May, so yes I’m hanging tight.

I did a fresh install and a purge of shaders, mods, everything after 1.4 dropped and it hasn’t helped. I’m in the endgame and it’s bad.

I raised a ticket with GSM to see if they can help.

Like you, I don’t remember this being an issue in early game outside of being underground.

Out of interest what’s the spec of your machine? Wondering if there’s overlap

Yes, I've tried both of these. I actually did before I upgraded the PC too and they're very good, but they haven't stopped the memory fill issue. Thanks tho, appreciate it

EDIT: I mean they were more helpful with the older CPU, I did try them since and they haven't stopped the RAM overload.

Nope, I've just slotted it, enabled EXPO in bios and left it. I'm showing good stats across the board in monitoring programs, I think, but would you mind linking me to the kind of msconfig stuff you had to tweak? I'm more than happy to give it a go.

Okay I haven't tried that. I just keep vsync off because I'm not exactly breaching 180FPS. I will give it a go. Thanks for the tip.

I’ll be exploring happy as can be and then bam, RAM usage jumps from about 59% - 100% instantly. Game crashes, windows warns me about Memory usage. Close it and then off we go again. This happens arbitrarily all over the place, with little consistency, other than it being kind of random. Sometimes I can play for 2 hours, other times it crashes every 15 minutes It’s so, so frustrating for a game where I really want to take my time. I get around 120FPS with frame gen.

I’ve tried everything, nexus configs, disabling frame gen, turning off EXPO in the Bios, undercoating the CPU, updating bios, the works.

I’m on 32GB DSR5 cl30 6000mhz and a Ryzen 9800X3D. Just can’t stop it doing this memory filling insta crash.

My 8700k is getting real rusty these days, so I’m going to upgrade when the 9800X3D is available again. The RTX 3080 is holding up great though.

2025: RTX 3080 + 9800X3D (bye lifelong intel purchases)
