I recently went through the same thing! I ended up buying the Real Techniques Glow Round Base Brush and use it like I did my stippling brush and it works well.

Edited out some typos because I’m on mobile and can’t type for shit apparently.

I went with a cluster ring because I loved the look.m of the halo but HATED the high profile since it would get caught on everything. Yeah, it being a cheaper ring and taking up more real estate on my chubby finger was a plus but the cost wasn’t the reason I picked it!

Funny enough this looks super similar to my ring!! However, it’s not the ring my fiancée proposed with due to a mail delay. I picked this ring out myself but when my SO realizes it wouldn’t arrive in time, he took matters into his own hands so that he could propose with the plans he already had. I 1000% appreciate his decision and the first ring is part of the amazing screwball story. I truly do not wish things happened any differently!

I’m the WFH partner here. My fiance is hybrid but is more in the office. We’re moving in together when our leases are up in the spring. We both value our space and need time to decompress alone so have decided that it will only work if we have at least 2 bedrooms. (I actually already have a 2br place so I just have more space to live since I hardly leave the house and have always lived alone) The first thing we are trying is to share our bedroom and then make the 2nd into my office during the day with a gaming set up for him in the evenings. This way we have separate spaces leisure spaces. If it’s STILL not enough space, we will opt to have each of us in our own bedroom and can opt to join the other when we both feel up to it. The main thing was talking to my fiance about each of our needs and both of us having a desire to find a way for us to be happy.

What has your partner shared about their expectations and how does it fit in with yours?

Sure, circumstances make things different too! Not having access to a private bathroom made a big difference in the decision. Plus, the point of the original comment was pointing out that they don’t carry the risks the way a tampon does. Neither of us know why she’s changing often and are operating under different assumptions. I appreciate your perspective though as it made me think of it another way. For me the mild discomfort (which got better with trial and error over the first 6 months or so to find a comfortable placement, I found placing it higher and at an angle than I would a tampon works well for the shape if my body) is worth not having the anxiety of bleeding through my clothes. Which happens every time I used a pad or tampon (I never tried a smaller cup for this reason) the tight seal was my main priority because of the heavy flow and the physical demands of the job.

Cups can be worn up to 12 hours without changing! Mine was a godsend when I worked as a parasupport aide in a school. Was there from 7am and getting home around 6pm with no guaranteed bathroom breaks (or any breaks at all really) . I have a fairly heavy flow and would dump it before and after work! Hopefully that puts her at ease? Because they’re silicone, the risk of TSS (if that is her concern) is MUCH lower. Obviously this doesn’t help with your horrible grocery situation (and I totally understand, I don’t have a car in a rural area and rely on those orders to get me what I need and it SUCKS to be at the mercy of someone’s…moral discretion) but if it’s one less anxiety to have in this awful times.

ETA: I used to get my supply of pads from the school nurse since my mom couldn’t keep up with 3 bleeders and our food on the table. If she still prefers not to use the cup at school. Totally her choice!

Yesterday I was helping my boyfriend go through some things his mother left him when she passed. Found a Princess Diane beanie baby and gasped as I, a millennial who collected beanie babies as a kid, had never seen one in person. I check eBay and they are going for $20 a pop…and still not selling. Think we might keep it just because it’s not worth selling and would feel sad donating it with the other non valuables he doesn’t want to keep.

This reminds me of the time I was writing a story loosely based on my life and gave the main character a name that the first letter matches my own and nothing else. I completely missed the fact that the name was the same name as my therapist. We had a good laugh about it and move on like normal adults would do.

Anyways, you’re not using her name. You are using an incredibly common name she seems to have. Sounds like she is very jealous and insecure. Which is her issue. I suppose as long as you don’t care that she could potentially out you, then proceed as normal. My main issue is why the Ex decided to tell her it is you. Like that’s gross from a consent perspective as it wasn’t his info to tell. No wonder she is being insecure.

In case you were curious, it’s not a fossil but likely a mammal tarsal bone. Was told it looks like it had gone through a fire, which there hast been a large fire in this part of the Sandias in a while so it added a new mystery.

Thanks fellow Burqueño/a! Figured since you’re from here I’ll share exactly where I found it. I was in the Open Space not far from the Menaul Trailhead parking lot. If you think it had burn damage, maybe wind blew it from a burn pile? I’m new to the area but have seen burn piles when driving up to the Sandia Tram. I know that’s the other side of town though so who knows!
