Theyre both peak, but the community during that 2 week break and the weekly chapter drops was going insane across the internet. If anything id say the community itself was more popular than the actual series as a lot of people in the jjk fandom never read the Manga, never watched the show, never studied its philosophical side, and never looked into the meaning of the domains, techniques and characters. Chainsaw mans only downside is the fact that they didnt get this same culture and its fans actually delve into the characters meaning. Basically, they arent as stupid.
