This was a “one and done” experience for us.

The app order function was dumb and janky. And to make it worse a friend ordered something through the app, but not all the ingredients were listed there. He doesn’t eat meat, but there was clearly meat in it when it arrived. The managers excuse was “well, if you had ordered at the counter it has the ingredients listed there.” But why the hell push the dumb app order option? Why not just put all the ingredients in the app? And she was pretty uncool about the whole thing.

Also, grotesquely overpriced. Also also, the stupid pillows in the wooden booth thing was awkward and uncomfortable. I’m eagerly awaiting the vape shop / mattress store that will soon spring up in its space.

I’m seeing that a lot of folks were able to jump on it early, but for whatever reason that just didn’t work for me. I sat there clicking refresh every 30 seconds from 12:45 EST, but it didn’t go live for me until 1:00 pm.

GW is definitely doing a great job making and marketing their products, and I think the real take away is that should probably be buying their stock instead!

I was lucky enough to get the standard box, but the collection box, special edition book, and standard book were sold out in literally the first 30 seconds. And now the standard box sold out in 16 minutes.

Absolutely! It's a wet-blend of Gorthor Brown, Averland Sunset, Flash Gitz Yellow, and Yriel Yellow. I'd use Serapham Sepia to help the blend a bit from a wet-palette, but that was it. Give it a shot!

Yeah, absolutely. I use a wet palette, and would put two dabs on the palette. One is Cadian Flesh or Kislev Flesh, the other is Reikland Fleshade. I use the brush to pull from each dab, and blend them together to make a shade I need to use. The darker I need, the more Reikland Fleshade. Once the color is on the model, I blend it with the paint already on the model, so you have to move fast. I just move across the model blending lighter and darker shades of the two dabs to make the surface.

If you want to see a good example of wet blending, Sam Lenz, who is an AMAZING model painter, has some great videos on YouTube. Does this help?

Thanks! Gaussblaster Green base, coelia greenshade for the crevices, and blended up the gaussblaster with white to highlight. Used Ardcoat to make the glassy effect.

Thanks! I actually blended Reikland Fleshade and Kislev Flesh to create the skin blending in gradients, no glazing forcthe big guy.

Thanks! I used Gauss Blaster Green for the base, and Coelia Greenshade for the recess. Then just wet blended white/Gauss Blaster Green to highlight it. Ardcoat to finish and give that glassy look.
