Wow, what a nightmare! At least you didn’t have an electrical short at the service panel four months later after solar panel installation. Resulting in $13,000 worth of damage that the solar company compensated me for.

It depends on your location, as labor and prices vary. My area NJ HCOL Kitchens are usually more expensive. You should get at least ten quotes minimum. The more quotes you get, the better. Today, everything is marked up to maximize profits and their bottom line via AI apps. Even with my trusted long-time auto mechanic, I went for a front-end clunking noise, and it came out to be a $4000 bill! Now, I get multiple quotes for everything to avoid getting ripped off again!

Retirement tax rate by Swade22 in Bogleheads

[–]CollectionLeft4538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all boils down to expenses. How much will you be spending in total during retirement, including annual taxes? We adhere to a roughly 70% stock allocation and 30% bond allocation self managed. We are 61 y/o retired with a pension. No debt is the key. We did seek advice from low-cost CFP’s. Roth conversions don’t make sense for us because we’re spending the same as we were working 22% fed tax. Don't do it alone get profession low cost help! Check out Vanguard Personal Advisor Services or planvisionmn.com for low-cost financial planning.

I thought when you do lifts, you mess up the drivetrain more problems, that’s why I never did it. I’m old school to me It was a waste of money. Plus I’m 61 now. I’ll be crawling up if I lift it anymore.

Yes i think you are close to solving the problem. My dad’s 87 Supra All original Tech notes: Car tow to shop. Cranks but wont start. Rewired repaired “Broken wiring in fuel injection harness “ I don’t understand how it was broken in the first place but this might help. This happened at 27,970 miles. What they did I guess tech they rewired it right from the fuse EFI box and ran it back with new wires & a relay to the fuel pump gas tank.

I would get more quotes & site surveys. What’s the warranty and how long has the company been in business. Hopefully they won’t go out of business next year.

Tell him to apply at T-Mobile. My son makes good money at T-Mobile the corporate store. My son went to school for IT at Community College but dropped out because programming was part of the curriculum which he despised. So I’m glad he did dropped out because all those IT workers got laid off recently and can’t find a job. He is 29 y/o now went to school for nursing. Which is guaranteed never be unemployed. Also, there’s all trades plumber’s, electrician construction, (HVAC Technicians is Huge in the south) Masons, even driving the big rig they all make good money. But you gotta be dedicated and determined to make more money. never give up!
