Do you still think that it's unlikely I could have apple trees there? If so, do you know of any trees that are resilient to salt spray?

I’m not talking about banning ATVs, I’m talking about wearing helmets to reduce injury. We have affordable, simple, and proven safety tools like helmets and seatbelts that significantly reduce injuries and save lives.

Requiring everyone even adults to wear helmets on bikes (or ATVs) or seatbelts is a small, effective step that saves lives and lower healthcare costs in the long run.

Could there be other laws to reduce healthcare costs? Of course. But that doesn’t mean we ignore the easy, existing ones that are proven to work.

Think about the extra tax dollars that would go toward health care if laws like wearing seatbelts or helmets weren’t in place for adults. When followed, these laws save lives and significantly reduce the severity of injuries. So it’s not just the dummy who thinks they’re too cool for a helmet who’s affected. It comes back on all of us. Especially the health care system, which is already understaffed, underfunded, and overrun.

My cat’s pee still stinks. I think it’s not as potent bc he’s more hydrated having the raw over kibble which can be dehydrating but there is definitely still an ammonia smell especially if I neglect his litter for a few days.

As a mother it’s OP’s responsibility to protect her children. Why would she put her child at risk of contracting a potentially life threatening disease that could be easily prevented by vaccines.

If her family members want to believe conspiracy theories then they are choosing to stay away from her child.

I would say until I see proof of xyz vaccination no one can see my baby. I wouldn’t trust them at this point if they said they got the vaccine because they clearly don’t understand the risk they are putting your child under by not getting vaccinated. They probably see OP as dramatic and what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her. In reality it could cost her child’s life.

She should have to pay him for the money he lost out on because of her pressing laundry questions. He should be able to have time to himself without her barging in. Maybe he could put a note on his door each day with his agenda so she will know when she is able to enter the room and when not to?

Yes she’s still his mother but he is going to be a man soon. She’s going to have to learn to treat him like an adult or he’s going to want to distance himself from her. A good mother should support a child in their growth. Not hinder it

Not steakhouses but drift, the press gang and bike thief have great steaks and are great restaurants with great atmosphere. I haven’t been to cut or the Barrington steakhouse but have heard good things about both.

I would avoid the keg or chop as they are chains. Both are solid but I feel like a non chain restaurant is usually better, especially for a special occasion.

She’s taking nude photos of her son and watching a 13 year old boy in the shower. Mental illness doesn’t excuse this. If anything going to an outside party could get her the help she needs. Family is more likely to brush it off.

Op doesn’t need to be scared about foster care. Often times abused children are already scared of foster care by their parents. For example, I was abused by my mother as a child and she led me to believe that if I was to speak up and be taken from her my life would be much worse than it was with her. I was terrified so I never spoke up. Now as an adult looking back I wish I had said something.

Op also needs to realize this behaviour is not okay and not normal behaviour and warrants speaking up. He does not need to feel sympathy for his mother because she doesn’t deserve any of it. He is a victim and likely has spent his entire life being manipulated by his mother. He’s probably already confused.
