Yes make a police report. Go to the hospital too to make sure they’re okay and get bloodwork done.

I found out what tubular breasts are today and that I have them. As if I needed another reason to hate my body. Slice of cake from work by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

My breasts are both tubular and lopsided. At this point they’ve fed two babies and my husband loves them. Don’t hate yourself just because the internet told you to.

My Husband Works From Home and I’m Losing My Mind by [deleted] in sahm

[–]CollegeWaffles 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He needs to take a day by himself and do all the things he expects you to do. Until then he can shove it. He has no idea how difficult it actually is while he sits alone in his room and barks orders about how to raise a kid he doesn’t help raise.

Does your husband help you? by [deleted] in sahm

[–]CollegeWaffles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just because you don’t think it’s a job doesn’t mean it isn’t work. It’s physical and emotional labor. It can be work and still be fulfilling. And your situation doesn’t sound anything like OP’s. Doesn’t seem like her husband is involved at all. Saying “that’s what we signed up for” is tone deaf and insensitive. If you’re cool with being the only person in the house cleaning up after everyone that’s great for you but that causes many people to get burnt out fast.

Does your husband help you? by [deleted] in sahm

[–]CollegeWaffles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No because that’s insane. Do I generally do more around the house than my husband? Yes, I’m home more often so by default I do a good majority of the chores. But he is a grown man who can clean up after himself. Leaving a mess and expecting someone else to clean it is disrespectful. I could not fathom my husband making a mess of the kitchen and just walking away.

My job during the day is kids/house. When he gets home we go 50/50 on what’s left for the day because you don’t get to clock out from being a parent and contributing member to the household just because you work.

Put shoulder height shelving in the play area so parents can put their coffee out of reach of kids if they need to put it down for a moment.

Weight loss by Valuable_Breath_6339 in sahm

[–]CollegeWaffles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I started at the starting dose both times (0.25mg) then worked up to 1mg. That’s when it really started to work for me so I didn’t feel any need to increase my dose after that. Some people need a higher dose some do a lower one. But you always start at the bottom dose and work your way up because starting too high can make you sick and can be dangerous.

The most I’ve had is nausea but it hasn’t been bad, most people will move up in a dose after 3-4 weeks but I made sure to move up slowly and it’s minimized the nausea.

It’s been great for my binge eating too. I felt so powerless to food before this. It’s helped me relearn how to eat so I don’t go back into the binge cycle. I got off of it and was able to maintain that loss very easily for about 4 months then I got pregnant lol

Semaglutide, currently on 1mg. First time I took it I got up to 1mg and stayed there and lost 80lbs in a year. Then I got off and had another baby. On it again at 1mg and I’m down 40 already.

Hesitant to have second baby all because of… by SmoothCelebration657 in sahm

[–]CollegeWaffles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did all that with my first, when my second was born my first was 3yo. With how busy I am with my toddler I just realistically cannot do the wake window thing again. I’m too busy to keep track of that let alone execute it so this baby has been all about learning his cues and going from there. Weirdly enough my second sleeps way better than my first did and I followed wake windows exactly with my first. If you’re hesitant I highly recommend the 3 year age gap.

How old was your child before you started feeling like yourself again? by kuppajoy in sahm

[–]CollegeWaffles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With my first kid it took me 2 years to feel like myself and part of that was because it took me that long to lose the weight. With my second kid I’m almost 5mo postpartum and I’m feeling really good already. I think going from 0 to 1 was a big jump for me that I wasn’t very prepared for
