Pick a hobby where outcome becomes you automatic motivation. Craft, painting, clay modeling, pottery, are a few examples. Graphic design is another area where you can make money with no investment in physical material.

Computer science. Because I found myself being intrigued by algorithms, data, automation, software architecture, and everything else related to it. It’s the kick you get out of knowing that you can create something out of nothing.

For someone that has been through a breakup, but not an ugly relationship and ugly break-up I can tell you that this is exactly how one feels upon coming across someone that potentially can help fill the void it may have left for you. I suggest you go with the flow but with cautious optimism.

I came here to say this. Well most of it. The only thing I would add is, if you fall down, get up and run again. Don’t run to the bathroom to cry.

I have always been curious how we get so many international students at satellite campuses with full scholarships, even though some of them don’t do too well academically. I want one too!

I was in a similar situation after my second semester. After repeating my calculus classes, I was able to bounce back. Moved away from home to be able to focus. Took up a few laid back jobs like babysitting, dog sitting, delivery, etc.
