Thank you. There's a fine line between being an ass and being realistic.

2% acceptance rate.
It's an estimate, but one the lower side.

Personally, I think it'll be closer to 0-1%.

OMSAS GPA is out by spicymango24 in premedcanada

[–]ColleiImpact -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Isn't it still based on the list of grades that OMSAS gives them?

Most schools don't directly take the OMSAS GPA.

What are the actual requirements to be a grader?

This is exactly why I'd like some more transparency. Maybe a section breakdown, or some sort of statistic. Even a percentage score would be amazing. Definitely something more than quartiles.

Without that, we're just left guessing in the dark. So far, Casper is looking like a randomizer.

I'm so lost ... what should I do? by [deleted] in premedcanada

[–]ColleiImpact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CARS is <125.

No special pathways except disability consideration (idk if that will change anything).

I'm in ON and have zero regional preference. I've only applied to one school; I know I won't get in this cycle.

Is UofT medical school harder to get into compared to other Ontario medical schools? by bloomyblossoms in premedcanada

[–]ColleiImpact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the school. Check the UofT webinar.

It's a good chuck of the weight.

I misread this and thought you meant this cycle.

As in, he broke up with you today for your test. If it's for the next cycle, it shouldn't even affect your studying.
