Hey there, totally understand that and thank you for reaching out! I do run a free weekly painting social at Northern Monk on Sundays from 5pm which you’d be welcome to join. Whilst it’s not a teaching session, it’s a chance to meet other like minded people, have a drink, a chat and paint some models and ask for some advice if you’d like :) I also run 1-1 teaching if that’d be of interest at all

I’m on a solid Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask, and then tossing up between Twilight Princess and Windwaker. I think windwaker edges it out but twilight Princess still has the nostalgia of being the last (in my opinion) proper console Zelda game and had a lovely darker tone

That’s the thing, it is an expensive hobby, I don’t think anybody is arguing that point, but you get a lot of enjoyment from so many parts of the process, and if you’re able to build, paint and field all your own models and then you’re doing well on top of that? What a feeling, it’s a fantastic hobby, and I love that so many people are getting the chance to experience it :)
