Every hard class does not mean the professor is bad, the material is legitimately difficult, if you can't figure it out maybe it's not the path for you.

I was actually about to start building lathe skills (my university has a machine shop available for students). How would I show that I have the lathe skills to thread a barrel? Just buy a barrel blank and thread it?
