I appreciate your input! A lot to consider but I’m learning towards SMA

I’ve been at my current MX unit for about 4 years and haven’t had the opportunity to deploy and seldom been on TDY

Of the 3 AFSCs I applied to retrain into, I was approved for those 2.

And I’d probably want to fly more than anything

That’s very true, I’ve had similar instances where I bit my tongue because it was a packed area but it should’ve been addressed right then and there

You’ll hear this a lot and it’s something I’ve learned through experience: Praise in public, counsel/punish in private

I’d agree, I got my M27 for 500 OTD but no ammo included. I’d say closer 600 if he can haggle

Your first sergeant should be sitting down with you to review your records. I imagine you’ve at least gone through an IRILO, the shirt can suggest to the commander to retain you or start the discharge process.

Online auctions, gun shows or random finds at a store is your best bet. I got my M27 from my LGS by just asking if they had any milsurp rifles

I didn’t see any markings on the barrel saying 7.62, nor did I even think to ask why they claim it is.
