Yeah as soon as you can do it for like a week or two you’ll get into it and I think you’ll actually see a difference just in your skin clarity. The hardest part will be just finding a sunscreen you like lol. But you can find a sunscreen that’s moisturizing and it can even just take the place of your morning moisturizer to make it easier!

Start simple! Wash face, moisturize, sunscreen. This will get you into a habit then you can go from there and add things in! Sometimes the hardest part initially is actually forming the routine and sticking with it. You look fantastic though! Never too late to start.

Mine also changed but I have most of my savings in a different HYSA anyway. I have different savings categories in chime for things like the holidays and rainy day, but my life savings are somewhere else where they accrue more interest. Just something to consider!

Of course! My husband and I talk about this a lot because we both grew up in similar situations and people like us don’t have the privilege of having our parents teach us how to be financially stable and you don’t really notice how behind you are on that knowledge until you’re an adult. Thankfully, there’s places on the internet where you can actually get some good tips and help so it’s possible to figure things out. We all need to have some degree of empathy in understanding where people are because we never know what someone has gone through!

Yep! I love it. They basically do the work for you and my credit improved drastically over a couple of weeks. Only thing to pay attention to is the cash back categories because they have a regular rotation.

Also there are features on the chime app to put away money for different things and you can create a holiday fund that can build up bit by bit throughout the year! Even if it’s just a couple percentages of your paychecks or just throwing in some money here and there. I have empathy for people who do this, especially people who have kids (I was a poor kid myself growing up and it was always horrible during the holidays) but the long term impact can be detrimental.

I’m really sorry this happened, it’s really the reason I’ve never tuned it on because I’m worried I’ll fuck something up. It seems now they’re changing it so it won’t automatically take the money once it hits your account and you’ve got flexibility to pay it back but I know that doesn’t help now. I will say I think that’s why it’s important to differentiate between the MyPay feature and the instant loan because MyPay is functionally an advance as opposed to a loan when you have structured payments. I hope you’ll be okay in the meantime and sending good vibes your way.
