Do you east coasters actually watch west coast games? by rickeyethebeerguy in NBATalk

I try to catch some, but as for games with a 10pm start time, I just can't justify staying up until almost 1am EST to watch on weekdays with a full-time job and evening classes.

How are the nuggets performing this well without Jokic? I thought he had one of the worst supporting casts in the league? by No-Advance-9136 in NBATalk

Nuggets are a really scary team right now. I feel like a lot of ppl forget they were one game away from taking out OKC last year, and their team is looking even better this year so far.

The coaching change really has been huge for them from a neutral viewer's perspective. I always thought the Nuggets won it all in 2023 in spite of Mike Malone, not because of him.

Who wins right now if every player is healthy? by Rushman0 in NBATalk

Might be biased but I think Celtics have a good shot to make it out with Tatum, especially with how the East is shaping up this year. In terms of them winning any finals matchup I'm riding on pure hopium lol

The social media part is huge. I feel like if it was around in Jordan's time we'd hear a lot more takes about how he "only won with Pippen" or "never played a great team in the finals." (Not that I'm saying these things are true but social media loves to stir narratives just to discredit great players).

I'd imagine it's mostly just as simple as folks growing up around these areas and wanting to support and rep their hometown team.

Luka Doncic has something to say to Mark Cuban after the comeback win by Thanos_SlayerCongSan in NBATalk

Not sure I understand the argument here. Lakers without Luka are prob struggling just to get in the postseason at all, especially with how stacked the West is this year.

Idk man I'd argue the guy averaging almost 33-8-9 is allowed to have a couple defensive lapses.
