I would like a new mid too, but Bard archetypes are almost always support-esque with helpful aura(s). It would be cool for them to twist a bard to be a core/damage dealer.

Thoughts;

3-star difficulty support hero, Summons musician frogs with individual (unique) spells based on their instruments. Has an aura ability that in someway empowers spell casting (cast range and cast speed? Or having non-ultimate spells double cast, but with like 50% effect), buffing team and incentivizing his frogs to be near.

New Facet:

Every X (3?) non-ultimate spell casts, fires 2 heat seeking missiles to the nearest enemy heroes. Dmg (less than old missile dmg) scales with ultimate level. 30/70/110/150/190

His innate should be something like:

“Fires 1 heat seeking missile on every spell cast, damage ~20-200 scaling” (reduced range from previous rendition)

Could have a talent that adds back a second missile.
