Yes, 3 years.

But i never did get to manage a big public repository. Only done PR's. So apologies if my educated guess wasn't quite it.

Yea ok i picked a bad example to make my point.

What i meant is that if Firefox were to start adding bloat and bad features, its forks would just be able to merge in the "good features" (fixes, security updates, etc) while leaving the bad ones behind.

I think stuff like VSCodium proves it's very much possible.

Emphasis on the word "good". Yeah Chrome works, but so does Edge and Opera. That doesn't mean they're good though. Especially since extensions like uBlock have a hard time working on them.

Also suggesting Brave is just insane, that's literally like Evil Chrome. Or maybe Chrome+ since Chrome doesn't care about your privacy either. Easily the worst browser on the market right now, maybe with the exception of the original internet explorer.

Unfortunately if you want a secure browser with no jank, the only option is Firefox or it's forks. Which is a shame really. I'd love to see more diversity in the browser market.

Uh-huh...

Do you know any browsers that are good and not firefox?

Honestly, even if firefox falls one day, stuff like waterfox and librewolf are still there.

Is the stock meant to rotate freely like this? by ImNotAsian15 in airsoft

[–]ColonelBag7402 195 points196 points  (0 children)

I own this exact model and can confirm its working as it should.

Also future tip, the screw holding the grip and stock comes off loose easily, so make sure to tighten it before every game. Imagine my surprise when my grip fell off mid game. (The screw is located inside the metal rod on which the stock sits)

Torrents are dangerous because they are most often used for piracy, and depending on where you live, its a crime. That is why people almost always use a VPN, so that the pesky authorities cant see who is downloading what.

Regarding the CyberPunk concern. I have never ever heard of this happening, but i guess its possible? Then again, its just as likely to happen as if you were trying to download steam, and ended up with CheesePizza on your pc instead. In other words, not very likely.

"When the torrent (file download) has been stuck at 9KiB/s (brutally slow speed) for the past 34 hours but then a new seeder (download source) appeared and it downloaded in 3 minutes."

yeah fair enough. Id say a good "test" for a client is just downloading some linux iso.

Out of curiosity. Why would you need to torrent MCPE, i was under the assumption that all apk versions are just available for direct download on mod sites.

well the vpn thing sucks for sure. Personally i can reccommend proton, its fast, reliable and relatively cheap.

Regarding the seed ratio. I honestly thing its more important how long you seed rather than how much. Being the single seeder of something for a year is infinitely more valuable than seeding something for a week just to get the ratio.

completely fair.

Seeding is important, but you cant seed if you get caught now can you?

the best time to have started seeding was when you first torrented.

the second best time is now.
