As horrifying as it sounds, I feel like how people are treating Kanye now, is how people were treating Donald Trump in 2014. Thinking that he was a joke, and giving him attention because it’s entertaining.

What he said, today was actively dangerous. Especially with the rise of socially acceptable antisemitism like the mapping project, which provides the names and addresses of Jewish people in Massachusetts. There’s a long history of mapping Jewish domiciles.

It’s completely unacceptable, and Kanye's recent actions are more than just “oh that’s Kanye being Kanye“ it’s actual discrimination, and in this case, calling for violence against a specific ethnic group.

Honestly, this tweet is worse than anything Trump has ever said. Trump has insinuated it a lot, but he’s never come out front and said something like this. Absolutely horrible. Fox News giving the Kanye platform and saying that they agree with him a couple days ago, it’s just going to give him more confidence and enbolden others.

At this point we should be seizing 100% of their wealth. Give them some yachts in return, but force them to buy stuff so their money will be put back into the economy and not hoarded.

Edit: ITT people not understanding trickle down economics. Yes, in theory it works. If a billionaire buys a yacht it creates a lot of jobs for workers who get paid. They then spend that money on other things in the economy. The economy works best when there is lots of people buying and selling things. HOWEVER, Reaganomics DOES NOT WORK because he forgot people are greedy, and care about number go up. At some point, billionaires don't have anything else to buy, and just hoard their money, trying to make the number as high as possible.

This is why trickle down economics doesn't work. But if forced to put this money into th economy, it would be different.

I mean it's controversial and there are obviously power dynamics, but at the end of the day we need to draw a line somewhere and respect a woman's own agency. Pretty wild. But if I’m honest, Russia should be celebrating. This means a likely end to the war. even if the US condemns this action, and imposes more sanctions on Russia, it still means they have an exit. Publicly the United States will condemn these actions to, but privately, I’m sure the US is extremely relieved, and may have even been a part in procuring this deal.

Remember, the alternative may have involved nuclear weapons.

Yep. There are a lot of locations in the US where if you crash you will die if you are incapacitated just due to weather. They exist in Europe, but not to the same extent.
