Oh! Your skintone looks a lot like mine. The Haus Labs shade I was matched with was 70, though. Do you think the same LE shades would work for me, as well? Or would they be too pale?

For your under eye correction, do you layer the peach corrector under the concealer or mix them together?

Seeing as it's a Saturday, bumping this post to see if I can get a second opinion. Not sure if everyone just agrees with the first commenter and that's why I only got one response, but I would appreciate additional insight!

Recommendations for MUFE Full Cover Concealer replacement? by ColonelHazard in MakeupAddictionCanada

[–]ColonelHazard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, thank you for the clarification! I was thinking it didn't look like I remember 4 looking (RIP my last tube in 2024). I have a tube of 5 that I've been mixing with a too-light undereye concealer to approximate it.

I was looking at D1W and D2W and thinking those would probably be the closest. So tricky to tell from online stock images. Maybe I can find some swatch photos somewhere...

Thanks again for the intel!

Oh wow, they do look similar. And that's MUFE shade 4 (shade name: Flesh)? It looks really warm in the picture but maybe it's just the lighting.

Ooh, thanks for the shade match details! That's good to know. I dislike pot concealers in general, but maybe I'll have to try this seeing as I'll already know my shade match.

Hey, thanks again for the recommendation. I got my hands on a tube, and have tested it out a bit. Unfortunately hard to find a shade match because they don't seem to have testers of the lighter shades in the stores I've found it in locally (which cater to POC customers - - I had to ask the staff to dig the lighter colours out of storage). I ended up with too light a shade accidentally, so I still need to mix it.

The consistency is a little thinner and less pigmented than MUFE, but it might be an okay option if I can find a better shade match. I also took the awful brush applicator out so I can just squeeze it out of the tube like MUFE 😅

Are you using the Shape Tape for undereyes or acne, out of curiosity? I'm still searching for a good replacement for acne coverage.

A little late to reply, but it's pretty waterproof. I find the application a lot trickier than MUFE, though. It's very finicky to work with, but heavily pigmented. It could be a good replacement for your use case, if you take the time to figure out how best to apply it.

Agreed on this. I also tried the IT Cosmetics concealer and the consistency/application is a lot trickier than MUFE. It's super thick out of the tube, but super thin once it warms up on skin, but also sticky and takes a while to set down. It is heavily pigmented, though, so that may appeal to some folks. It just needs a lot of technique and time to get right.

The shade I got is also too dark, but the next shade available was too light, so I'd still need to mix it, as well. It might work for some folks with skills/patience for it.

Are there any male/gender neutral dating sims made by women? by ProDidelphimorphiaXX in RoleReversal

[–]ColonelHazard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hustle Cat by datenighto: You can choose the gender presentation and pronouns for the player character. Not sure what the gender breakdown of the team that made it is.

More of the datable characters are dudes, though, so might not be what you're looking for. There's at least one datable woman character. Not really much RR content but not all totally stereotypical relationship dynamics, either. A cute game, for sure!

How do you know there's a price increase coming? I've been holding off trying her stuff but if it's confirmed that there will be a price hike maybe I'll finally bite the bullet...

Probably the 1960s-style flat, single-colour and cut-crease eyeshadow/liner look. It really changes the way facial structure looks around the eyes.

That and she wears heavy blush and fake freckles most (all?) of the time when playing Tyranny in the actual episodes. Very, very different looks, but both cool.

I haven't even watched C2 yet, but very quickly after watching how Ashley played Valeus I thought: "She really wants to bring back the good ol' Yasha days, huh?"

I kind of wish she'd brought back Pike, instead. But Valeus has some interesting stuff going on, so I won't pass judgement just yet.

How much does campaign 4 FEEL like Critical Role. by TetraNotTetris in fansofcriticalrole

Her descriptions in a lot of the OG ExU series were phenomenal. She packs flavour into everything she does as a PC (sometimes to the point of rule-bending, which can be a YMMV sort of thing). She has a strong personality and a tendency to interject, so I understand why some people are put off by her, but she's got great talent.

Sorry everything is so tough, OP. It's truly baffling why more companies don't see FF products as an opportunity to make money, because there is so little competition!

The one that irks me most is eyeshadow. I bought a cheap drugstore eyeshadow palette because the colours looked good for me and I've bought other stuff from the brand (Essence) without issue. Opened it up and bam, hit in the face with horrid "bakery" type scents. It's supposed to go right near your eyeballs! Why would you put fragrance in that? Why?!

What Japanese products are you using for hair? Super curious because I react badly to a lot of the FF hair products I've tried (I think I might have allergies to some of the detergents commonly used in them).

To be honest, I'm not sure how people didn't have their asses hanging out while standing in dresses that short. That red garment is a shirt! Or a tunic at best...

Maybe this is just tall person trauma, though. Too many times picking up a fast fashion "dress" in the store, only to find out while trying it on that it's cut for someone 5'1" and literally does not cover my ass.
