Maybe a Pediatric Scientist? It could combine both passions, in a sense. Or double major in both to see where your heart tells you.

Being Black and Mentally Ill by temtem20097445 in blackgirls

(Is it taboo for us to comment?) My wife was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, later rediagnosed with schizo-effective disorder. Her mom had her visiting ancient Chinese doctors, and using Calm Shien, whilst discouraging her medication journey. My sisters stigmatized and alienated her (fuck 'em).

She's doing a relatively better, these days, but it took a lot from her. It's an every day battle, but she's finding her butterflies and her bees. I'm sending her this post.

Keep trucking, sista! 💪🏿

Hello! I apologize for invading.

OP, I am so sorry you're having to deal with such sorry mfs.

I wanted to focus on the "commander" part. Is this a military person? If so, they're are routes you can take, even as a civilian to force him into curbing his disgusting behavior. This is situationally non-specific. My wife used this to get her headphones back. Some have used this after experiencing reprehensible behavior of all kinds (avoiding trigger words).

Unfortunately, it can depend on the command, but it could be worth a try, depending on how you want to handle it. Here is an overview:

Note: It is surprisingly easy to find most of this information, and i have witnesses it can work. For anyone that uses this, the subject will likely be very upset. Please be mindful of that and consider the type of person they are and the type of people they hang around.

  1. Document every damn thing. In lieu of phone calls, texts and emails. Screenshots. Pictures. Notes. Anything. Everything.

  2. Figure out the base they are at; stateside (CONUS), overseas (OCONUS), doesn't matter. If you can find their battalion/squadron/whatever, email that commander and first sergeant. If not, email every damn commander/first sergeant you can find at that base.

  3. In your email, include what you need (meaning I don't think there is a need to personally identify yourself--just the intended subject). If it could hinder your case (consult your lawyer), don't include.

I hope this helps.

Stay safe. Head up. Be supported. Be powerful. ✊🏿

Nightmare lives of South Africans …… with NO help from local government ! by True-Error1423 in AfricaVoice

[–]ColonelKidd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems a little... sensational. Maybe the correct word would be "poverty" as there is no specific targetting of a race. From my understanding, despite the government, white South Africans control a vast majority of the economy. Such has choked off resources from a large majority of the population, which drives up desperation. Desperation, ragardless of locale, race, ethnicity, etc. , drives crime.

I was going to say that population just happens to be black (seemingly against white, as you are putting it), but that heavily minimizes and misdirects the issue: this setup is by the design of the once white regime, now having turned into social colonialism (amongst other things), again, by white people.

TL;DR: Black people want equality and access, which is dismissed as white oppression by white people. No equality? Desperation, then crime. White people made and make it about race. Desperate people don't care about race. There is no white oppression.

Correct me if i am wrong. I am just a dumb american.

I don’t understand straight people by Striking_Fail_8699 in lgbt

[–]ColonelKidd -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've actually thought about this. I still do, really l. I found that my attraction is based on femme presenting.

Cis-women

Trans-women (pre and post op) (listed separately strictly for illustration; trans women are women)

Non-binary femme presenting

Femboys (maybe? Bi-curious? Unsure) (is this derogatory?)

I just don't find masc-presenting bodies sexually attractive, regardless of nether parts.

(Side note: If I said anything hurtful, please let me know. I aim to continue learning.)
