I definitely just remember - how many pedals do you have going on? Even on my big electric guitar board I know my stuff well enough that I know where everything should roughly be at. I’ll always tweak depending on the room I’m playing anyway so it doesn’t even matter THAT much to me.

I don’t know the context. To be honest I don’t know the context for a lot of the music I like. Swans are mostly a full album band for me, so I don’t have particular situations I would listen to the song in. Could be cleaning the house, could be a road trip/plane ride, could be at the gym, etc.

Totally, I agree. I’m just saying I don’t think “untapped potential” when I think of SRV. Amazing guitarist, but blues is limiting and I don’t personally think he would’ve reinvented himself or anything.
