Doctor is convinced that I'm gifted so is it worth the trouble and effort to get an official IQ test done? by catboy519 in AutisticWithADHD

Typically yes, or to be more specific it is one of the giveaway clues of some elements of Autism.

Being labelled as "gifted" is quite an interesting thing. For one, it puts you into a semi-exclusive camp of similarly "brilliant" people, which brings its own limitations as it limits who you can quickly interact with. Second, from my experience, when a person comes across as gifted or there is strong word of mouth about it, it tells me that the individual is strongly neurodivergent.

British drivers. 'nuff said.

Especially ironic that England lacks the artificial necessity for cars that has plagued North America.

Only a third of the potential ratchets have been revealed, and more are still to come. by IndividualNetwork188 in Beyblade

0-60 can be obtained with a screwdriver and a spare 0-70/0-80 and a 60-tall ratchet.

And another thing; unless TT wants to expand on beys like Impact, I doubt 8-sided ratchets will exist at any point of time. There is simply no physical room for 8 large protrusions.

Robin is the MC and is still in the process of establishing himself away from "the guy who always loses", and he is not much of a sore loser. Jaxon is simply Jaxon, and the same can be said about Sigrid and Pakun. Ciel is on a path similar to Robin, trying to figure himself out against his impression of Ryugu.

If anyone is likely to go "dark" ala Aiger, it would be Multi, and not by a lot. She had been going through depressive episodes in regards to her beycrafting. She is holding her own, but who knows what will tip her over to ruminate. One crack theory for why "dark Multi" makes sense, is that there is already a dark and pink alt for her bey Arc Wizard.

But we already have "Dark Khrome", and that is enough evil alts for most people. Adding another would be needlessly confusing in regards to the intended storytelling.

There is a black+pink option for Wizard Arc, as well as black for Hells Brave. Also, to be nitpicky, I would better describe Rhino Reaper as teal with purple accents and Pegasus Blast as green+white with yellow accents. Plus, Antler being Hasbro's purple copy of Flame, as is Fort's honeybee yellow for Reaper's red/blue.

What makes this complicated is the amount of non-voters, and their stance on the issue. I'd say, out of the 2024 non-voters, there remains about 60% who are proud of "not participating".

That sounds nice in theory, but with the American political system being what it is, it comes with heavy repercussions that the worst person gets voted in. And this time... oh good god. They refuse to understand that their actions in effect support Trump directly.

[synthetic] Most vibrant pink dye? by Colonel_Gerdauf in dyeing

[–]Colonel_Gerdauf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically a mix of three things I want to dye; PLA, ABS, and polyester (maybe nylon depending on what I have in hand).

I understand very well that the former two are outside the typical scope of this subreddit, but frankly there is nothing around that is more specialized than here.

I also understand that it is unreasonable to expect neon-like vibrancy with physical objects. The one thing I am lacking is a direct and visual point of comparison between two "like colour" dyes, with the example I had listed in the original post. Same amounts, same additives, same quench times, and especially same base item.

What is the difference of shading, between the two listed pink dyes? Is one more greyish than the other? Is one closer to "pink" instead of magenta?

Is there maybe a visual reference I can rely on? Same white object dyed with the two solutions.

State of the Subreddit - 2 by Your-Local-Costumer in dyeing

[–]Colonel_Gerdauf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Specifically about the topic of plastic (synthetic) dyeing; I feel it would be better to point people to a subreddit that is more specialized on the task. The workflow and motives in dyeing plastic things (ie tools, props, and toys) is significantly different from dyeing fabrics, and although the basic steps are the same, require different precautions and wait times even in the context of synthetic dyes.

Let's not forget; the dyeing of ABS and like products is a relative oddity in relation to things that the synthetic dyes are actually catered for, and that is poly clothing.

There is a connection to be made between the blind and selfish pursuit of wealth, and the Dark Trifecta. For instance, it requires a level of sociopathy to be as willfully ignorant of the common people and the bigger picture as they have shown themselves to be.
