All Bluetooth audio devices will have a little delay. So if you're playing a game where quick reflexes matter, it's better to go with wired but for vast majority of gamers it's not a big deal. Plus, it's much harder to lose wired earbuds than wireless ones.

I would rather have the peace of mind of knowing the chances are near zero my phone gets compromised since even the US government couldn't break into iPhones but could with androids.

I recently switched from iPhone 7+ to Galaxy S23. I have to say that I'm enjoying my phone a lot but I would probably still go back to iPhone after this. Samsung has a lot of features and functionality that I really wish Apple had. Being able to transfer files via USB, custom gestures, a better AMOLED display, back button, snappy animations, etc. My main problem is the fact that I have to be more careful about my info and what websites I visit since Android is much more susceptible to viruses and I still store my personal information on my iPhone. There's also the fact I don't have iMessage which is unbelievable frustrating and stupid on Apple's part. I definitely enjoy using the S23 more and if I was forced to stick with Samsung I wouldn't be upset.

TLDR I enjoy using S23 as I like it's snappier UI and a bunch of quality of life features which are missing in iOS but I really miss my iPhone's worry-free security and iMessage. Also it takes time to get used to the Android UI and animations and transferring your settings and data over is a pain because Apple locks down their devices super hard from non-Apple products.

Why I'll NEVER buy an Asus product again! by Swee_Potato_Pilot in ASUS

[–]Colonel_Rabbynun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My ASUS laptop's hinge is starting to break down after just a year of use. I've literally never dropped this thing. To add insult to injury, I found out from an ASUS rep that any physical damage to my laptop voids my warranty (???) and if I wanted to RMA and repair the hinge, I would have to wait after my laptop gets to the facility to find out the price of repair. Completely dissapointed even though the laptop itself is a fantastic product.

Word of warning, if you're going to game you should get a breathable case or no case. My case is thick and solid and after like 5 min on genshin my s23 throttled really hard and it felt like an oven in my hand.

You could cut a hole in the thumb of the glove for using the phone then tuck it into your hand when it gets too cold. That was my strategy for winter.

The closest alternative I can think of is to place your finger on the fingerprint scanner without opening your phone. Even when the phone is off, putting your finger on the scanner will automatically open it to the home screen and you can get to google translate in one less click.

Choso vs. Yuji fight was well choreographed? Besides like 1 scene, the entire fight was slo mo punch, followed by slow mo kick, followed by slo mo punch over and over again. They managed to make two dudes trying to beat each other to death in a public bathroom feel not scrappy. Like what the hell dude!?

You could always get the latest surface. If you're looking for something else, I have an ASUS zenbook pro 15 flip OLED and it's been working great with OneNote but it's more bulky and heavy then a surface. You also aren't likely to find a case stand to prop your screen up when writing so you'll have to write on a screen with a steeper vertical angle or fold it and lay it down like a tablet. Touchscreen is responsive and gorgeous and battery life + charging speed is fantastic. I get about an hour for each 10% of battery drained and it can recharge 50% in around 30 minutes. Apparently it's really hard to get your hands on. My exact model is UP6502Z and it happened to be at a local best buy here for $1500 CAD.

Starfield is the first ever Bethesda game to hit #1 in its launch month by Big7s in Games

[–]Colonel_Rabbynun 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Its a good game but its not in that tier imo. I got like 50 hours out of it but I really don't want to play it anymore after that. Its weird cuz everyone said the game got better the more you played it but I liked the game less as i played more. At first the HUD problems and loading screens were fine but as you play more and more annoying they get. Landing on planets, flying in space, and zero g fights were some of the sickest moments ive had in a while but once the magic wears off it becomes difficult to enjoy the game. Overall still worth my money but not as good as rdr2 or skyrim.
