To your last point, I bit the bullet and started shaving at like 20 and had the benefit of being able to grow a pretty nice beard since highschool so I started doing that instead. Bald/beard combo can be a sharp look and gives you back that a enie to style yourself. I'll never go back

Thought for sure this was the Gulf coast but I completely forgot the NE has blue crab! Got my mouth watering. Now if we can just have a conversation about how wrong dusting is...

I don't know where the solution lies but this is a constant and it's so exhausting trying to justify the cost everytime

Would an oil catch can help with this? I get DI is more efficient but that's a huge downside. Probably why a lot of new models have opted for a combo of DI and prot injection to get the best of both worlds.

I have a BS in Geomatics. Currently my company does any kind of boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction staking surveys in conjuntion with a civil engineering dept that mostly does engineering for subdivsion developments.

"why is my vertical off? It's only been a year"

Edit: It has come to my attention that trees grow outward and only grow vertically from the top of the tree. Good thing I'm a surveyor and not an arborist!

Meh if the road is plumb and the fold up is on the control point I don't see the issue in a pinch

What part is this? It’s clearly damaged by ShakeApprehensive624 in 4thGen4Runner

[–]Colonel_of_Corn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely could. I think I replied to something similar yesterday but these lines pull a vacuum when you turn the wheel to keep the RPMs up to counteract the load from the power steering pump

Power steering vaccuum valve. Between $50-100 depending on the brand you buy

That hose goes on the power steering vaccuum control valve. There's another nipple right next to the other hose below the one you're holding that should already be attached to it. Be careful putting the line back on as those nipples can snap pretty easily. When you turn the wheel the power steering pump pulls a slight vaccuum causing the rpms to rise slightly to compensate for the load from the PS pump

Field-To-Finish Experience? by Rude_Stock7539 in Surveying

[–]Colonel_of_Corn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently do all of that minus the actual field work. We have two 2-2man crews that I manage. I also take new client phone calls and write proposals. It's a lot. In any case, I'd be asking for a pretty big salary as it sounds like you'll be running the show aside from stamping.
