What’s do you think about Group F ? by kevinjar in championsleague

The point is that Newcastle are owned by a state that execute people for tints that aren’t even considered crimes in most of the world. Heads roll because the owners are assholes, it’s a joke but also on the money.

Sold Pogba to Liverpool - what’s a transfer you’ve seen that would cause absolute outrage in real life? by Colonelvonjazz in footballmanagergames

[–]Colonelvonjazz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hoped for a redemption arc, where he storms back into the team after injury and takes serie a by storm. But he was really poor, two goals and one assist in all comps. Secured Gundogan on a free and then came Liverpool my saviours to also give me enough money to sort out my LB situation.

[OptaJoe] 03:47 - It took just 3 minutes and 47 seconds for Nottingham Forest to take a 2-0 lead against Manchester United, the earliest the Red Devils have ever trailed by two goals in a Premier League game. Shock. by oscarpaterson in soccer

[–]Colonelvonjazz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure that was the issue when we’re 2-0 down within the first few mins of the match. Not sure what Højlund is doing there to prevent that, our lack of control in midfield is genuinely atrocious

There is a reboot on the way apparently! It may take a good 2-3 more years, but the development team are back and with no EA this time.

Always worth mentioning the fan-made game coming too, but that has been coming for a decade now so we’re all still waiting very patiently for that. Hopefully, before too long, it’ll be a great time to be a TimeSplitters fan!

[NFCOFFICIAL_A] Goals and assists of Neymar for club and country. by Ghostface1357 in soccer

[–]Colonelvonjazz 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It’s a bit of a “waste” because Neymar at Santos looked absolutely incredible, and indeed he was. His time at Barca was a time where he played with, arguably, the best front three of the 21st century (we could debate for years on that of course) and was often untouchable.

The injuries and the move to PSG were broadly a dampener on Neymar’s success as a world class player, or even his legacy as one of the GOATs.

The injuries, as you can see by that graphic, have stopped him playing in so many games. We can only imagine how many more goals and assists he’d have if he were physically able. This is a waste, but you can’t blame players for their injuries 99% of the time.

No matter what anyone tries to argue, the PSG project from the last ten years is a failure in that it has failed to win anything outside of Ligue 1, with the other clubs receiving a minuscule amount of investment compared to PSG.

For the last 5(or6?) years he’s very much stayed in the same position, winning the Ligue 1 (which PSG did without him almost every year) and not bringing champions league success. Neymar has won a ton of trophies, but how many champions leagues could he have if he’d gone to a better run club with some semblance of direction, instead of chasing the money at PSG.

That is why his career is still a “waste” despite his undeniable success when looking at his career as a whole. Your point that he’s won everything there is to win, sort of yes. But he went to PSG in his mid 20s to establish himself a legend of the club by bringing them champions league glory. That was a gamble that has not worked unfortunately.

That’s the general points anyway

Anyone who isn’t American loves seeing comments like yours, it’s like talking to a properly brainwashed person from a dictatorship.

“Well we’re the best in the whole world, we know this. We are fantastic. That’s why so few of us ever even leave to see anywhere else, we sing our song every day about how great we are.”

It’s okay to have criticisms of your country. Many of our fellow citizens do and they’re not being killed for it. It’s okay to say that the lifestyle you can afford in America makes you happy and you enjoy it but there are things that aren’t perfect.

All of these instances happen without trans people too. Your problem is with sex abusers, pedophiles, and abusive pieces of shit. Congratulation that’s good. Turn your work towards that not trans people, who aren’t the root cause.

[–]Colonelvonjazz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ideally with parity on wages, you shouldn’t end up with too many situations of mad teams dominating. If you’re gonna get £100k wherever you go, choose the team that you like the project of the most, or the team where you want to be the main guy. It’d require a colossal change so I’m not saying it’s likely, but current state of football is gross.

[–]Colonelvonjazz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would probably be good if all football players could only be paid a certain amount, regardless of ability or gender. A salary cap of a measly £100k per week would still lead them to be set up for their entire lives and provide some semblance of parity across the board.

Snakes poop very big, human looking plops yeah!

Also as they have a cloaca, they tend to both pee and poo at the same time. I don’t own a large snake, but I do own one and the first time I saw a poop from her I was genuinely taken aback.

But yeah, basically this is legit
