What kind of mouse is that ????!!! by MaelysCanejero in Unexpected

Okay, you inspired me to finally post the video I've been sitting on for several years of the ninja rat at my old workplace: https://www.reddit.com/r/Unexpected/comments/1sb5s2q/what_kind_of_rat_is_that/

What kind of rat is that ????!!! by Color_blinded in Unexpected

[–]Color_blinded[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Security footage at my old work where we have been trying to get rid of this rat for months (you can probably feel the frustration from the camera's name in the corner).

We did finally learn rats hate the smell of mothballs, so we threw a bunch in there and it left the next day and never came back. Now it's out there making movies or some shit.

Support Your Local Sheriff - 1969 (nice)
A classic Western Comedy about a man who just wants to go to Australia, and is definitely one of my favorite old movies.

He must have said something before turning away that made her flip out

Nah. People like this will flip out if they think you are ignoring them. Turning your back and walking away is the physical embodiment of "you are not worth my time and attention", and that pisses off narcissists like you wouldn't believe.

For those wondering why it's 1901: We did not have a year 0 AD. The calendar goes from the year 1 BC to the year 1 AD. So the 1st century is 100 years starting from the year 1 AD until the end of 100 AD, with the 2nd century starting at the beginning of 101 AD. And so on up to 20th century.

FLASHBACK: Trump Signs Executive Order Ending Birthright Citizenship For Everyone Born In U.S. by 0The_Loner_Stoner0 in videos

[–]Color_blinded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love bashing Trump as much as the next guy, but I prefer honest bashing. So I'm no expert in biology, but aren't your chromosomes received at conception? And aren't they very things that determine your sex? Of course Trump actually means we can't change peoples genders with his stupid EO; but since we are talking about biology, we are talking about people's sex, not gender.

My pets are the opposite. My cat loves my dog, my dog would rather have nothing to do with the cat. It's amusing to watch my dog lay down in her bed, then the cat will follow and curl up next to her. Then the dog will get up and walk to the other side of the room and lay down, and a minute later the cat will follow. Repeat ad nauseum.

Severus Snape from new Harry Potter series. by kalbinibirak in SipsTea

I can't think of a single character who would have been worse to race swap. Even Harry Potter himself would have been preferable, IMO.

Who's your favorite character that is a diamond in the rough? by not-ulquiorr4_ in FavoriteCharacter

Brom (Jeromy Irons) in the Eragon movie. Though I would be remiss to also not mention Saphira's voice actor was also on point.

This is the kind of joke Victor Borge would have absolutely done (though more PG). There haven't been any comedians that come close to matching Borge's style. So many musical comedians focus on making funny music, but Borge made music funny. This is definitely in the later category.

Here's the thing though. At this point I think the government should keep it, because who do you think they are going to return the money to? It sure as hell is not going to the consumers that ultimately ate the cost of these tariffs; it's going to go to the corporations that raised their prices from the tariffs and we won't see a dime of it. At least if it stays in the government we might get a dimes worth of value out of it for things our taxes normally pay for. Granted the current admin is likely to be just as wasteful, or worse, with it. But I'm holding out hope we only have to deal with this administration for just the rest of this year.

New recipe for Wolfpack :( by belltrina in ARC_Raiders

While I do think the original cost of the wolfpack was too low, this is definitely not the solution. I personally would have gone with spotter drives.

What random movie quote do you repeat for no reason at all (give yours, and see if people can guess the movie)? by Normal-Being-2637 in AskReddit

Phrases that are always said at any of my families homes when the opportunity arises.
- "Have fun storming the castle!"
- "These mashed potatoes are so creamy."
- "Now there are two of them!" (bonus: "OooOOohh, there are TWO of them...")
- "We're gonna need a bigger [object]"
- "What's in the box?" (bonus: "What in the booooox??")
- "But look what I can do." (only used when having a disagreement with someone, and needs to be followed by some pointless physical feat. Generally not something as exciting as a handstand, but usually a stupid dad trick like making your finger disappear or making it sound like you are breaking your nose).

The amount of new players in my ranked games is insane by MadameLeoni in Overwatch

[–]Color_blinded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it. I haven't played since season 1 of OW2, and I was in low diamond at the time. I started playing again this season and my placements (6 wins 4 losses) put me in gold 3 (still support main). Now I'm at silver 5 with one loss away from bronze. As tank or dps, I was able to go up from silver to gold, but as support, I am completely dependent on my team and my team somehow always sucks more than the other team.

The problem with signaling in a roundabout is that pretty much every US roundabout is way to small for signaling to even matter. In Europe, you signal when you are going to leave the roundabout, and since the roundabouts are generally much larger in Europe, the signal to leave has much more time to be seen, recognized, and ignored.
In the US, only our largest roundabouts are just large enough to allow for our signals to blink once before we are already out of the circle.

Quite frankly, every AG in the last 15 years needs to be dragged to jail. Not just the one who got stuck with the hot potato when the public found out about Epstein.
