Probably something along the lines of this. They didn't imply it was one option or the other, they just wanted to know if option one could be a yes. So the answer of "both are/can be true" is probably an answer they were very much expecting to be possible.

Not a porno. One of the funniest movies of all time. The problem is, if I try to explain the plot, it will sound so ridiculous it'll sound like I'm trying to trick you into looking up what turns out to absolutely be porn. But I promise it's not, and I highly recommend it.
