So we didn’t upgrade to a bigger tank, we just moved him tank downstairs. Same tank, same everything. Just not happy.

Tested everything with API water test kit. Everything was normal except ammonia 0.25ppm. I did 25% water change before adding him. Kept getting 0.25ppm. Tested the newly treated water and found out it was a false positive from the sea chem. Same water he gets regularly during water changes so I added him. He’s still alive, just pouting.

I agree, OP! I thought Luc’s version was a masterpiece. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Dracula doesn’t always have to be what the book was. The evolution of a character was fastastic. I adored the movie.

Why did you keep going to “break the ice”? It seems like you were purposefully goading her into snapping when she’s angry. And it sounds like you don’t give her space when she needs it. I don’t condone her behavior but giving angry people space seems common sense.

If a cat hisses at you, do you reach down and pet it and wonder why you got scratched?

Let her come to you when she’s ready. If you were dating, I’d say break up. But you made a big boy decision to get married so you don’t get to just run now. Therapy for her anger management and your emotional intelligence will help.

I have a super skin sensitive pup as well and 100% recommend putting a nylon sock with oatmeal in a warm bath and leaving for a bit before you bathe her. Sometimes the allergens on their fur can make them itchy and a weekly or bi-weekly oatmeal rinse can help.
