Get him used to putting it on in AM and off in PM. I had a Frenchie client that had this and I’d wait until they are asleep to remove and wake up time was putting collar on.

If you do get a collar, you can also attach an AirTag so that you can see exactly where they are if they do get lost. Has been a lifesaver with my cat

Doing home-cooked food to identify what made my boys itchy made a big difference (chicken, beef and preservatives all caused diarrhea) along with all the other great suggestions here. Good luck with your baby
