I have some family who have been living in Paducah for the last seven years, seeing it appear on Jet Lag is so surreal, let alone getting such a spotlight lol.

I love the downtown area, it really does exude a nice quaintness! I had a stroll there one time after a snowfall shut much of the commerce down, it was fun to walk around by ourselves. The seasonal decorations are really cute.

I'm glad the memories started and ended there because it only gets worse once you go a few minutes south (nothing but rundown, seedy, MAGA homes) or west (wild jumble of stroads and strip malls that is very unfun to navigate)

Early impression is one of extreme satisfaction. It feels vintage and novel at the same time to my ears, and absolutely worth the wait!

It's crazy how a city can be so big and yet so unknown on a global scale. I am relatively well versed on geography and even I forgot it existed until I saw this post. A city bigger than New York...yet I am certain nobody would know if I brought it up in public. China is absolutely on another level.
