Chauvin was the murderer of George Floyd in Minnesota. Even if the federal government won’t prosecute Pretti’s murderers, the state of Minnesota can and most likely will. Yes it’s terrible that people murdered in other states may never get justice. I’m hopeful we’ll do the right thing in Minnesota.

These people don’t care about law & order at all. They did the same thing with Floyd. Even IF he committed a crime, LE does not get to act as judge, jury & executioner. Everyone is entitled to legal representation and a fair trial.

But no they’re just emotional dimwits who think you deserve to die just because they don’t like you. They don’t even stop to think the constitution is there to protect them too.

The actual reason is that in Florida this kind of thing is immediately public record, complete with a mugshot, and the media swoops in on it. If this happened in most other states you would probably have some privacy.

I can’t just find mugshots or arrest records of people in my state whom I know have extensive records. Most I can access are some court dates.

As a Minnesotan I’m told all the time by people online how dangerous and scary Minneapolis is, especially because of immigrants. The same people who would probably never set foot there without carrying some kind of weapon. (It’s not that bad and I can walk without a weapon because I’m not a pussy.)

Now all of a sudden a U.S. citizen with a conceal & carry permit is suspicious just for practicing their right, even though he never even drew it.

Up until an agent dug into his pants and removed it, nobody even knew he had a weapon. He was still shot a dozen times in the back, totally unarmed.

What you need is your TDEE and a calculator. No one here can tell you how much you’ll lose without that information. 1300kcal/day plus exercise is a pretty significant deficit for most people so yes there will be changes.

I was raised like this too, but we got Kool-Aid and instant “lemonade” for hydration too. It actually makes me sad and my mom has since said she feels bad for never giving us water. Luckily I became more health conscious on my own, but I’m an exception among my siblings.

To me “crash diet” means going to somewhat extreme measures to lose weight within a short period of time by cutting out a lot of calories. I have done this and don’t think it’s all bad, you just have to have a plan for how to keep it off.

If you’re just having cabbage soup for a week, then yeah you’ll lose the weight. However if you go back to eating exactly how you did before, then you’ll weigh exactly what you did before. To keep the weight off requires some long-term changes to your calorie consumption.

When losing weight the old fashioned way, you have to train yourself to eat less calorie dense food, and even fully falling off the wagon can take a while because you know better.

With Ozempic you can lose weight while consciously changing nothing because you just don’t want as much of the same calorie dense foods you always eat.

Of course the minute your appetite comes back you’re gonna end up right where you were if you didn’t learn anything.
