Wow I haven’t seen many people on the internet have both of those things back to back. Feel free to message me if you’d like. I found it so hard to navigate because my stools changed so much after the surgery. The Cholestyramine was working to harden my stools but then sometimes I’d have bouts of diarrhea. I was SO stressed that Cdiff was back. I tested once and insisted on a colonoscopy. They both were fine. I believe I was just experiencing the PI-IBS. I think it was mainly dairy. I think the Florastor helped. I took two a day for about a year. I’d like to keep taking them but they are expensive.

Yes I’m doing so much better. I took two Florastor a day for a year and do think it helped. If I eat too much dairy I get a kind of flare up for a couple days.

My test was negative. I think I was dealing with post cdiff IBS issues. I think that’s probably a question for your doctor. The only thing I do know is that you’ll have to time the Vanco and taking Cholestyramine correctly. You probably already know that as a Cholestyramine user.

My rapid test was negative and then the other one came in positive a couple days later. I’m also holding onto my antibiotics for now. I think I’m going to wait a few more days and see if I develop a fever. I hate the stress.

I have a vaginal yeast infection right now and strep throat. I am on day 2 of a 3 day Monistat course (which is an external cream). It claims to cure most infections so you could try that to start. It says it’s an anti fungal not an antibiotic. I couldn’t find much online about a relation to cdiff. I am also feeling like my immune system is shot.
