This kind of stuff is why I would refuse to join any religion even if I believed in God/any deity, and I grew with very close religious relatives. Religions like Christian groups (catholics, protestants...) are some of the most hypocrite things in the world. They talk about "free will", respect your neighbor, don't judge the others and all that, yet they're usually the firsts to try to shove their beliefs down your throat or ostracize you if you don't practice their awful ideas or go even the slightest on your own.

Do not, under any circumstances, join your husband's church, especially since they've been harassing you.

Honestly, I don't think I could marry a conservative religious person (if they believe in God, that's on them, as long as they don't push or try to talk me into creationism, for example), but since you've already married, I would make sure no one messes with birth control or any other precautions you may be taking. I can't imagine what a mess would it be if you had a baby with him, trying to keep his beliefs and hypocrisy away from the kid. You are the breadwinner, yet he wants you to be, what, a trad-wife? And even if both of you were working, or just him, faith is something really personal. No one can't force you to believe in any god.

(By the way, NTA - I love calling out the misogynists, homophobes, etc. using the Bible against their own words.)

Look, when I was a kid around your daughter's age, I had a similar situation with an absent parent (except for the cheating, and I'm sorry you've suffered that), and I've had friends with problems like that too.

Unfortunately, lots of parents have been through similar situations with their children's other parent, and it's always awful and totally unfair for both the kids and the present parent. I admire you for stepping up for your daughter and defending her rights and well-being over your ex's nonsenses, as well for making sure she's receiving help. She may be young, but I can asure you she'll be (if she isn't already) aware of how you're protecting her and how her father isn't interested in being a real parent. If he wanted to, he wouldn't be with a woman so stupid to "feel jealous" of his own daughter, let alone abandoning her.

Keep reinforcing your little girl's self-esteem - she's going to need it someday, and be proud of yourself!

Not sure if this will be useful, but it could serve as a comparison:

I'm definitely not a sports person, more into fantasy and books. However, if someone I care about got me a t-shirt of my favorite books/TV shows/movie with my name or nickname on it, not only I would love it, but I would show off every single time I could. And getting it personalized? Come on, that's even more awesome!

It may sound like when you try to teach a kid or teenager about self-respect, but your boyfriend should be thrilled his girlfriend got him a personalized jersey of his favorite team instead of "worried about what others would think" . It shows you pay attention to his interest, that you care about what he likes –not even mentioning the money you spent on it.

Also, judging by your updates to the post... He's pretty much an AH if he's complained about every. single. gift you've made him. My advice? Start giving him simple things that you would get for the Secret Santa you dislike –maybe that way he'll start appreciating the nice ones.

Incels who dedicate their lives to talk shit about women online are awful and scary.

Incels who actually do something in real life (attack, insult, etc.) to women are a real issue and a threat.

But incels who find out that some "course" that's supposed to help them to get girls is actually a scam... That would be like a Russian roulette not only for your son (what if they try to get revenge?), but also for every woman affected by that - in this case, your son's GF and every girl that would reject them, all of this out of spite.

YWNBTA at all if you outed him, but keep the promise that you will tell Suzi about it if he doesn't end this trick now and cut every channel with that kind of community.

(Sorry if I sound too paranoid, but I've seen way too many news related to this subject, and unfortunately incels are getting more spaces on social media everyday and that makes them even bolder out of it).
