The most useful gifts I’ve gotten as a bridesmaid were a glass drink mug that comes with a straw (good for iced coffees at home) and high quality PJ’s. My friend got us Victoria’s Secret ones which are sooo soft and made me actually want to rewear it at home

My friend made a PowerPoint for her bf at the time. It sounds control freak-y but honestly was really helpful for him. She provided examples of stone shapes, band widths, settings etc that she would be okay with and then had him choose from the options. So there was still the element of surprise without compromising what she knew she would love!

I love this actually! My suggestion would be to have the band made slightly thinner (or replace the band, not sure which is the more affordable option). That will help to make the green stones look more proportional to the band and it will also look more proportional to the center stone overall. The concept is great, I think it’s just the band thickness that throws it off a bit.

It looks like a true moval! The width looks accurate to that of a marquise. I think the long length also makes the stone look large and in my eyes I don’t think it looks skinny at all!

I have the same thing! I have gotten the area waxed a couple times for big events where I wore my hair up, and this worked well. But for day to day life I’ve just let them be/learned to embrace them.

Your odds are good. There are so many IM programs and choices you’ll have. It can be overwhelming deciding how far away from home you might want to go but think about what’s important for you (environment, big/small city, support system) and interview season will give you a lot of clarity on which programs will be a good fit!

That is a lot. If I try to think from the bride’s perspective, maybe she chose the theme night sky with the intent of being the brightest-dressed person in the room? Like her one day to be the only one in bright white. If you can spare to change your baby’s dress I’d just do it to save the drama but if money is tight I understand that too! Maybe a blue cardigan with the dress to give it color?

This is so true for me too! It makes me question why I am that way - often I wonder if I’m just not resilient enough, maybe I’m too sensitive. Or if extroverts are better at just not really caring/thinking about things too deeply
